Oh, man ... At some point during the quest, you seem to have decided the slingshot was useless and haven't been trying it on many enemies. The blue armos are Oracle style and can be killed with either the bombs or the slingshot. I probably should have telegraphed that better ... maybe a room where you encounter both armos and pols voice enemies at the same time, or something ...

Yep, slingshot seeds can also kill Blue Armos.
Anyways, loving the LP, can't wait for more

I'm so glad you found that lens. I was starting to think the worst about you tracking down the level 8 path. I feel bad about it, because I actually broke the Zelda 1 "one cave per screen" rule which holds true in the rest of the quest. I wanted to make the western mountains feel larger, but only had a few screens to work with, so I ended up making LttP style cave systems to make it feel bigger. But that bomb wall just feels unfair.
That one-way thing in the temple isn't intended as a trap. It's meant to be a shortcut back to that boss key door. I'm actually trying to help players out, but everyone seems to stumble on it from the other end and get dumped back before getting the Light Arrows.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest your frustration in this one had less to do with the level itself and more to do with your mood at the time.
So, after solving the boss key puzzle, shooting one more arrow into the emblem would have dumped you right next to the stairs to escape the room. There was no need to use the spell, (and I took care to design things so none of the spells are necessary). The light arrows, like the slingshot, can get rid of those blue armos with minimal effort.
You're almost there! I'm excited to see how the end goes for you.

level 9 starts next video, I can only describe in one word....Warning!

Yeah...Level 9 isn't exactly the fairest level. Lots of traps that do set damage, red mail that's rather hidden that you really want if you don't want to get pwned. Also quite a bit of backtracking. Maybe could have used a bit more balance in enemy layouts.
I have no regrets spamming Nayru's Love to permit safer passage through this place

Yeah, level 9's supposed to be a "no holds barred" kind of level. Perhaps I should have barred some holds, after all.
I do hope it didn't end up ruining the experience as a whole for you, Knuckles. Still looking forward to it.

well...lets just say, all was well til level 9 and that dungeon hurt the review score...you will see in the finale.....but hey, Hitodama, is probably you're best quest. I honestly had a lot of fun with that one.

Well, predicting a score in the 6.5-7.5 range for this quest. I think before level 9 it was at least matched up with Hitodama.
And no wonder I don't do blind runs. Not good to hear me curse...ever
And gotta wonder what this next secret ZC quest will be. Should be interesting to watch.
