I'm working on a new framework, and this is my beta test: Rebuilding New Quest.

EDIT: The Discord Server is now closed.

Early video here:

Alpha 1 up.

Anybody who's highly interested in the 1.90 colors (especially admins looking for ZGP-style stuff for 1.90), go test it so I can get this overlayed to an example_1st.qst for everyone to use.

Changelogs to Alpha 1:

Tech Demo 1:

1.  Uploading to Zelda NES Remastered Framework
2.  Level 1 completed
3.  Basic shops made

OK, Open Beta 1 is available for everyone to try out.  Level 11 on Remastered isn't complete, but Original and Easy Modes are done, along with the initial balance changes.

You can also take a relatively hard look at Remastered as well, but you won't finish it.

You can pick it up at the Discord Server:  https://discord.gg/zeq7fvJ .  Look under pinned messages

You can either write to me on Discord, here, or on AGN.  Let's hopefully get most of these bugs squished.

Hi James, I used to have an account years ago but I created a new one since I forget my login info ;) I'm not new to Zelda Classic and I'm playing (for now) Easy mode on this nice quest. I don't know what to do to pass James at the beginning of Level 5. I must be missing something in the overworld so can you (or anyone else who knows) give me a hint. I completed the 1st 4 dungeons and James won't let me in for level 5. Thanks :)

*edit*

Hold on, is it because I'm playing on Easy that I can't start level 5? I just thought of this now because of another post I was reading. Do I need to play at a higher level to start level 5?

OK I'm stuck again. Now paying on normal mode and I finished level 8.

1) When I got close to level 9 from what I can tell, the old man says I need a super bomb to bomb the rock close-by but I have no idea where to find this.

2) Also near 1 of the underground warps there is a green rock in the center of many other rocks that I moved with the blue level 2 bracelet. The room has I go into says ??? but I can't go to the right because it needs a master key. Can you help me with this as I don't know what to do?

OK forget about the top. I figured out a lot and I'm now in several level 10 for weapon upgrades ... now I'm missing the bomb upgrades. Do I need these and where did I miss them? I got as far as those insane bomb throwing octorocs and they're way too hard to kill. I keep dying here and I need a better ring if possible. Any idea how to kill those enemies faster? Was it with the level 2 bomb upgrades I missed?

Half tile trick helps, also, if they're not Fire Boomerang only, stun 'em.  They don't like that.

OK I progressed a bit more and now have level 2 bombs and golden arrows but I have a problem. I can't get the boomerang upgrade for 500 rupies at the end of blue mini-dungeon because I can only carry 255 rupies. Please help me to find the money upgrade. How in the world did I miss that?  :( And even if I get the fire boomerang, where do I go next after that? I'm kind of lost at this point. Any hint with that as well? I just want to get to the end of Level 10 rooms and face Ganon ;)

So this is where I need help right now...

1) Where is the money rupee bag upgrade (please tell me I didn't miss this in dungeon 6 for example lol) so I can get a better boomerang to stun those pesky bomb octoroks?

2) How do I progress after the 3rd mini-dungeon? (MD-3?) Unless I'm blind I can only see that I can head backwards. Did I miss a path somewhere?

3) Am I far off from the last true Level 10 dungeon where Ganon is?

1.  The Wallet is in Level 10 using a Level 1 type of secret (push a block over a block in a room) in Remastered Mode, Level 11 in its same spot in Original Mode.

2.  Where are you lost?  Screenshot it please

3.  No spoilers on that.  Play on (but once you hit the unfair Peahat item-check room, yes, you are closing near the end of the quest.  It's in sight)
