Tileset in Progress

It's where you start in QtT2, a different(easy) area of L3. You have no worries of difficulty.
Teilyr
What I do when I get bored pt. 2
(Note: The darkness of the grass/dirt edges is temporary.. This is a work in progress and will look more natural later.)
Apologies to whomever didn't get their picture in. Seems a certain Director forgot to inform his co-director of submissions. Any skipped this week will be used next week.

It's ripped from Sword of Mana.. Upcoming game for the GBA.
He's making a tileset of it.

I'm going to ignory how you spelled my name...
thanks you. It's ripped, more or less. the palletes were transferred by hand (looked at the pallete editor and put the same color in the same spot in ZQuest), and the tiles are hand drawn, using the tile viewer. glad you like it! I'm going to work on it more as I progress through the game, and after I finish the tileset I'm working on now. you can get a demo of the set in my AGN sig, but I think I have it here too..

GameLink7 - I don't like the GB tileset much. It's too....bright. Bland screen as well.
Petoe - The subway looks more like a.....wall. Sorry, can't give you this one.
link3505 - This wins, by a long shot. Even if they are ripped, a lot of work still went into them on your job, and, they turned out great.
skateboarder11 - I'm surprised that layering job worked as well as it did. But, it's a bland shot. But, extra points for credit on the layers.
Teilyr - The grass/dirt border is just, hidious. I don't like how it turns very dark.

Much like the blue ripples from last weeks shot, those edges are temporary. I just forgot to mention it in the caption. *adds it*
I'm editing the palette of the pure set a little and it came out like that. I was rushed since I wanted to meet the deadline to enter the contest. As I continue to work with it, those edges will become more natural looking.

I really don't know why I liked them in that order so don't hassle me for an explanation.

*Votes for Bottom Picture*
Fox is lending me some of his tiles for a project I'm working on in my spare time.
We have an understanding that works mutually.
Oh, thanks for the vote.
