Oh, yeah, I totally forgot about the remakes. But yeah, they are putting them out a mile a minute.

So, apparently Team Rocket is back and they are called Rainbow Rocket. Giovanni is the leader and the admins are the leaders of the teams in previous gens and the admins are Maxie, Archie, Cyrus, Ghetsis and Lysandre. Gen 2 team leader is missing for some reason.

 

I wonder why Archie and Maxie are here since they were apparently redeemed in the ORAS games. At least they realized the errors of their ways. Or probably Ultra Wormhole shenanigans since they have their Gen 3 designs and not their ORAS designs.

Oh brother, this is the "Spectre" of Pokemon, trying to pretend everything was all linked together all along, uniting everything under the original villain Giovanni, now you're definitely out of ideas Game Freak. Why would I want totem-sized Pokemon? All I really want is to get PokeBank updated to work with Gold and Silver... wha??? I can get a bunch more legendaries here? Sold.

I'm pumped for these games. At first, I was annoyed that they were recycling some of the concepts of Black 2 and White 2, but I feel like these might actually be worthy sequels to Sun and Moon.

 

I still wish Necrozma had its own game, though...

I picked up UltraMoon yesterday. I've noticed a few cool changes, but nothing major yet...I can't put my finger on the why, but it's got a very Platinum vibe to it.

I started playing on the plane ride home for Thanksgiving. The intro is considerably shorter, 45 minutes shorter by my count. Still got the Trainer School nonsense but it is improved. Overall... I still wish it had been a sequel, but it's fun nonetheless.

I stopped playing cuz Pichu is significantly harder to find than in the original SUMO. Might just breed one from Moon and trade the egg to myself. I'm trying to have a different team this time but Alolan Raichu is a must.

So, it's confirmed to be a regular third version with some alterations and Team Rainbow Rocket as a postgame story? Yeah, it's gonna be hard for me to get this.

I don't think I can take Team Rainbow Rocket seriously. Did they pick some Fan Fiction to base this off of? They forgot to include all of the Anime protagonists.
