Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

1. That's definitely a version bug--the quest was made and tested in 2.53.1 (specifically Beta 55), and 2.55 is known to be extremely buggy (especially around default engine features like the whistle).

2.

I'm stuck in The Gauntlet. Got the compass and can see a chest in the last room with lens. Any help?

do you have any idea how long i spent trying to find the final piece of heart?? 0/10

j/k, despite my frustration in trying to find it only to eventually discover where it was right in front of my face, this was a very enjoyable experience!  you guys did a great job.

i played the version in the 6th quest bundle.  is there anything different enough in the definitive edition to warrant playing that one as well?

looking forward to the sequel!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

The Definitive Edition includes three new minidungeons that shift some of the rewards around a bit, as well as a ton of bug and quality of life fixes, including some minor updates to existing dungeon layouts and puzzles. I wouldn't say it's different enough to warrant a second playthrough on its own, but if you ever do feel the urge to give it another run, it's definitely the better version.

Thank you so much for playing!
