I figured out how to edit a midi file so that it can be loaded into a ZC (Zelda Classic) quest.

#1: Look up online

Anvil Studio

 

 

 

#2: Download

Anvil Studio best version

 

 

 

#3: Restart your computer

 

 

 

#4: Get back to Desktop of computer account you downloaded

Anvil Studio

 

 

 

#5: Open up

Anvil Studio

with double click on its executable file

 

 

 

#6: Download a midi such as from

Marvin Gaye Mercy Mercy Me Free midi download

which has MercyMercyMe.mid

 

 

 

#7: Open Song

midi file with

Anvil Studio

 

 

 

#8: Each Track (whether has the word Track or not) with no . nor - in between | you right click then left click Delete Track

 

 

 

#9: File

Save Song

such as

MercyMercyMe.mid

 

 

 

#10: Open up

zquest.exe

with double click

 

 

 

#11: Load the midi in

zquest.exe

with

Quest

Audio

MIDIs

 

 

 

#12: Play the midi and/or click OK and you are done.

Anvil Studio is a pretty useful tool
