Yay! First Post and my vote goes to Nuvo - Flawless! Keep in mind my shot was made in less than 5 minutes (not if that affects your vote ). I just want to see how good a speed shot would get.

Runners Up:
* Evan the Great - I don't really like the fenses on the right side.
* LinkMystro - Love the Subscreen and Cloud effect but your sword sprite is too small

Honorable Mensions:
* Plissken - Can we see some action?
* Linkus - Just doesn't grab me but nice shot.
* Majora - Looks too outdated for Pure don't you think?

Evan: Great shot, but it's just not as good as Nuvo's. I can't really explain it.
Nuvo: Great screen design and all that.
Majora: Pretty bland, actually.
TriMaster001: Good shot, but it just doesn't cut it this week.
Linkus: Finally, a shot with action! Unfortunately, the repetition of the trees is a major turnoff.
Plissken: Good graphics, but that's it.
LinkMystro: Just a basic shot with some custom graphics.

Eh, that's my fault; I need to make mountain and water tiles. Some large trees would probably help, too.

Once again, I voted for Evan. I just love his shots and palettes.

-I really like Evan's shot. It's an awesome screen and the palette is great.
-I like this shot as well. It's nice, just nice to me.
-I don't like Majora's shot much. I would like it so much better if the graphics for it were better. It just doesn't look right.
-I like TriMaster's shot as well. But just like Nuvo's, it's just nice.
-I really like Linkus' shot, but those repetition of trees and that subscreen made me not vote for you.
-Plissken, Nice Rex and scenery but it's just a plain shot. SIdescroller trees would have given you more points from me.
-Me, it's an ok shot. The colors for the mountains and trees are nice. Is that DoR?

Anyway, Voted Evan.

Voted Evan the great's screenshot. The purple palette give a nice spooky atmosphere.

Nuvo: I've never been a fan of those mountains...

Majora: Nice idea but the graphics seem too Nes like...

TriMaster001: I would have voted for this one, but it needed way more details next to that grass hedge. It isn't blinding well with the forest and castle...

Linkus: Nice monochrome graphics... I hope there is a colored version.

Plissken: Nice screen, custom boss, background but there is a perspective problem with your mountains...

Linkmystro: Ennemies's palette doesn't seem right... Not enough contrast...

Anyway, all this is just my opinion.

Evan the great= I recomend either some dark grey for the paved paths, or some dirt paths in there, or something. It looks good, but it leaves something to be desired as far as colors go.
Nuvo= I dislike the bottem tree. The rest of the graphic are smooth, pleasant to look at, and work nicely, but the tree just seems overly complicated in comparison.
Majora= Huh. Colorized, but no improvement to the graphic themselves. .
TriMaster001= Actually, this one has a lot of potential. I think the only fatal flaws are that the floor is only a plain grass that lacks texture, and nothing seems to carry over along the pic. Either the statues should be the same, or at least something should be consistant.
Linkus= I like the classic Nintendo look. Seeing as this the only one I really can't critique, I'll vote for it.

LinkMystro= This is actually a really cool combination of graphic. If you could set them up a little bit better, this would definatly win over the rest.

Yeah that's basically what I thought after I submitted it, it was supposed to show off a custom boss but didn't end up to well.

Wonderful placement, wonderful palette. I love the usage of the tiles. My vote.

Ah, the mountains have a better color, but now the grass color doesn't look good in comparison. I'm also irked by that tree. Something else is just wrong with the layout, as well.
