Oh boy I guess I didn't explain myself well enough. I haven't found level 5. I thought the dock in the southeastern side took me to level 5 by using the raft. Obviously I'm clueless I think I need new glasses! I'm going back to the southeast corner and hopefully the whistle or the candle will finally get me into level 5.

Do you have the stepladder? In the screen directly below the graveyard, go over the small water piece.


Oh and I finally saw that. Had to make a map.
A few things, the invisible enemies are annoying, where's the cross?
And the level 2 ring?
And the boots for that spike generating block?

You should already have the cross if you got to that puzzle...did you kill those gohmas without the cross?
If you did, you're sequence breaking a little bit, but that shouldn't make the game unfinishable. The cross is in screen 74 of F1 in level 6 and requires 3 keys.

You need the hookshot for the blue ring, sorry

I'm stuck in Level 3. I haven't found any clues, just the compass. I don't know what does "walking between the torch" mean, but I bombed the left wall of the entrance, even saw the boss door. I think I need the ladder and candle. Unless that weaved block north of the entrance isn't removed by fire rather by something else.

The candle is all the way to the north of the entrance. Needs some keys that can be found laying around.

Phew finally beat level 6. Invisible boss sucked though

CastChaos: You need 2 keys to get to the candle, one of them is on 2F and one of them is on 1F.

Brandon: You completely skipped the cross! I expect that you have extra keys now? Geez... I don't think that I kept checking "Invisible Enemies" in levels 7 through 9, so you can probably just ignore the cross.

By the way, how do you force the player to pick up the cross in the design of your quest? I thought that invisible Gohmas would have been enough of a deterrent, not to mention an invisible octorok on crack as the boss...

I forced the player to get the "cross" with checking the "invisible" screen option on all screens of one of my overworld. Of course, even with that, the player might be able to pass. So, you can use an "one timed event" so that the way opens or such only if the player gets the cross. If you don't know what "one timed event" is, I can explain in PM.

Nevermind I figured it out....
I'm in the twisted halls dungeon but can't figure out the dungeon. Any hints?
I did get the msg from the guy but going left doesn't work.

What part of the dungeon can't you figure out? How many keys do you have, and how many doors did you unlock (if you remember)?

This dungeon is supposed to have the hardest possible puzzles, so keep that in mind...

I finished that level and got the blue suit.

I'm in the fortress and can't find the wand I have the book but no wand.

Also, I can't locate level 6...can you give me a hint on finding it?

Level 6 is in the Resting Grounds. The info guy there has a minor hint for you.

Finally got a chance today to play level 5 and after many restarts courtesy of those lovely red guys who kept taking my sword I got the raft. Man I hate those red guys! Hopefully I have a chance later tonight to get that red candle.

Is there anywhere to buy any keys? I have ran out of keys in level 6 and I'm pretty much stuck.

I've never come across any store selling keys yet. It sure would be nice if there was a shop that did.
