I've noticed that bouncing off of Darknuts' heads isn't that effective. Can that be changed so we at least don't "sink into" the Darknut and take damage?

Looks pretty cool! You've got sidescrolling collision detection with the walls and ground working!
The Iron Knuckle (/Darknut if you prefer but I think technically that's incorrect) seems very authentic too, and I like it. Although as Shadowtiger points out it seems Link falling into him with the downward thrust instead of bouncing off his head. Still though, this looks pretty great! Good work and good luck as it proceeds!

Looks great. Does this mean the first project is almost finished?

It's really coming along! This is looking great. Can't wait to see what else you can do with this.

Wow, awesome stuff here!
Very impressive. When finished, a full zelda II remake should be included with new versions of zelda classic as a official quest!
I don't think "LINK" has been used as a new game password, they could make entering LINK as player name start the zelda II quest.
(But, since this is Zelda II they could also use ERROR)
