Keep in mind, that fight is optional. It'll give you a cool item, but if it's too hard, you can always not do it and/or come back with a better sword. Some general strategies though: One way to do it is to try to keep your distance, and the second you see him, shoot a bunch of arrows at him. Another way is to use Roc's Feather to jump over his attacks and hit him close range with the sword. It helps to bring in potions; that way you can be more reckless to save time and just heal up when you take damage, rather than wasting time dodging every single attack.

More things I noticed:

1. Palm Island is empty, I don't find secrets, maybe am I missing something?
2. I used the key from the tidal sanctum to fight Lucis, is it that intended?
3. Bullet hell bosses is a really bad, bad, bad idea. You have the bad habit to overcomplicating the bosses.

There are some secrets, but they're mostly inside the minidungeons on Palm Island. I could add some hidden goodies there, I suppose.

Yes.

In general, I don't use them. There are only two bullet hell bosses, both of which are optional, and serve to make fun of the horrible bosses the first game had in a kind of "What was I thinking?" way. I know about the overcomplicating thing, which I tried to improve. As the quest goes on, the bosses tend to get better, simply because of the learning curve I had with scripted bosses.

If you head back to Palm Island, you can find a pretty nifty item in the Magma Sanctum now that you have the hookshot. Other than that, if you haven't beaten Dracus's dungeon (the lava level), head to the warp portal in Venezia and explore the Eastern Atoll. If you have beaten it already, go back to the library to meet with Dracus.

I haven't had any problems with the hydra, pretty easy boss. But "bullet hell" is anticlimatic in a zc quest >.<

You have talent with scripts, the problem is that you don't use it for enhance the Zelda experience.

This is a very difficult game, it is not for the feint of heart. Mostly this game is about the bosses and the fights are long and arduous,. If you like that sort of thing this game is for you. If not, good luck. I personally being only an average player, find this game hard. But I have persisted, so far, and have just gained the unlimited arrows, the long bow and the red armor from hell!!! (He called it Heaven, but he lied icon_naughty.gif )

LOL, the dinosaurs icon_lol.gif

Diagonal jumps without diagonal movement enabled... are you kidding me, Russ? icon_blink.gif

And my equipment dissapears misteriously... sometimes I have a key, sometimes no. Same with the raft and the shield. icon_freak.gif

Air Luigi: the space you have to land on is very generous, even if it doesn't look that way, so you don't have to actually make any diagonal jumps. The disappearing items shouldn't be happening though. The keys are level specific, so those will "disappear" if you leave areas, just like in official Zelda games, but the shield should be staying constant.

Mister Snooze: Each of those blocks is lowered by a switch in the other character's area on the same floor. I'd disagree with you about the game being mostly about boss fights those; aside from the optional level and the final boss, I tried to make the bosses not much more difficult than the rest of the game; most of them can be taken down pretty easily of you know what you're doing.

Ah, yes, now there is the rub. icon_lol.gif But then I do not claim to be an excellent player and honestly this game is at my limit of ability. Yet I persevere icon_smile.gif with your help of course.

Okay, which character did you get the boss key with? Link and Dracus each have their own boss keys, and you need to open both boss locks to open the way to the final boss.
