Goto the empty village in the forest and continue up to the mountain, there's an arrow target there, I think you need the Gold Arrow, enter the cave and follow the path towards the winter forest icon_smile.gif

I've just started playing today and I have a question about level 1. In the room with an eye on the wall, I've used the red boomerang and the bow and arrow on it but nothing happened. I even waited until the eye was wide opened but that didn't work either. I've already finished level 1 but I wasn't sure if I had missed something in that room.
Thanks in advance,
ms_zelda_lady

I think its a Red Herring, only items in level 1 are the bow and boomerang (as far as if I remember), I didn't found anything in that eye-room.

It is indeed a red herring. There are some things I've tossed in just to keep the player guessing. icon_smile.gif

Because of the upgrade (I think), I was finally able to beat this quest. I used the most recent update from the database, of course. Bugs or not, it is perfectly beatable. Just one death during this run, against a Patra 3 when I wasn't ready for it. Great quest, and great graphics. Definitely one to remember.

Beat the quest. Very fun, epic quest. One quibble -- Make some bombs available before entering the final dungeon. There is nothing more disheartening than entering a closed dodongo room with no bombs and having to commit suicide or F6-continue to get out.

I also hate raft mazes almost more than life itself, but that's a matter of personal preference.

Edit2: Figured it all out (superbomb, lens). Found the 1/2 magic upgrade too. Is slash in the quest? Didn't find it.

Edit3: Staff, if you want to delete the last paragraph of my review of this game (the part about not being able to finish), and change it to five stars, I would greatly appreciate it.

That happened to me too, but I was out of potions also so no big deal. icon_unsettled.gif

Anyway, I was curious how the author build that maze in the red tower, I though 2.10 only supported one side warp รก screen, or was it any lost wood-maze paths involved also? Nice done, it took a while until I realized it wasn't a regular "lost wood" maze. icon_biggrin.gif

Here is a dishartening one. I am stuck in this room in level 4 one room before the final boss, can't even see myself. Must be in a wall somewhere. That's another F6 for you.

Ok, in Level 5, The Red Castle, I got to the top area of th elevel and found the hookshot downstairs in an East Room, but to the West, there is also a locked door. I have not found a key yet and I have searched all over the place for it. Where can I find such a key?

Also had to enter without the boots because I accidentally skipped them.

I have the same question, also where do you find the boots?

I read this thread and found out that the boots are back in level 4. I've already beat level 4 and have no idea where it was to get back to it. I also can't find level 6. Can anyone help me out? icon_freak.gif

Level 4 was in teh graveyard(South-west corne). The Boots are to the right of a gleeok room(That one room in the center that is not on the map)

Level 6 is up in the highlands area in the desert.

EDIT: Also, what is with this door?

Thanks, Eppy icon_biggrin.gif I'm now in the level "Death's Glow" and got to a room where a guy says "Go down to get the only key, and right to the red ring". I got the key, but I can't figure out where that ring is. It looks like I've been to just about every room in the dungeon except for the very bottom left 2 rooms. I've even gotten to the boss room but got killed. Can anyone help me find the red ring? Thanks!

From the room where he tells you that, I think you just go right a few rooms and open a staircase. I think it was one of the rightmost rooms of the level.

I didn't pay too much attention to its location mainly because I managed to obtain the Gold Ring before starting that level.
