You are at Frostpoint? Or are you in the fourth dungeon? You should be able to get the master sword, check the village. It's always a good idea to check back in the village after you get items. You don't have the superbombs yet.

In level four, there are two floors and each warp spot warps you to the exact location on the other floor. Search for the magic boomerang, it will allow you to continue on in the level. If you have the boomerang and still are lost, check back at the beginning of the level for a crystal switch you can hit. Hope I helped, let me know if you are still stuck.

I found the sword. You have to hit the chest 3 times before it shows up. I just thought I had already gotten what was in it. Problem is, I can't get past the bottom floor. I was hoping if I hit the yellow crystal that is in among the spikes with the boomerrang, it would clear out the spikes. No dice. It didn't do anything that I can see. I can only get left, then up and part of the way back right before I die and I just keep continuing in the same place. I even tried it with F4. Then I just get hung up and have to go into the spikes to get loose.

I'm also wondering why I have the blue Bow. There is a bow in the village, but I couldn't get that one.

You need the magic boomerang to activate the yellow crystal. Keep following the warp spots in the level, you alternate floors regularly. It can be kind of disorienting but, eventually you will find the magic boomerang and then return to the crystal to reveal the way to the end of the Ice Temple,, don't give up!!!

The bow in the village is the "long bow" which shoots it's arrows faster, you can grab it after you have upgraded your arrows.

Let me know if you have any other questions, happy to help!

No, I have the magic boomerang. That's how I got down to the basement. When I first got it, I thought I was trapped and couldn't get back to previous rooms until I saw the yellow crystal in another room. I hit it and it opened a path. That led me to a whole new set of spikes, which are the ones I can't get thru. I tried hitting the crystal that is among the spikes, but nothing happened???

Have you gotten to this room? If this is the room you are talking about, the crystal here just stops the conveyor with the rupies on it. You have to avoid the spikes here and get to the next screen. Make sure you hit the switch earlier in the level so the barrier is down and you can progress.

If I am following your description right, the room after you open the path has some ice crystals surrounding a warp spot. This means you have come full circle and should go backwards to the screen above where you entered the level and hit the crystal there. Here's a shot of that screen:

Hope this helps, once you have the magic boomerang and the big key go back to the entrance.

That isn't the screen. I'm past the warp point where you come out in the basement, go down and right and there is a narrow passage to another warp point at the end of the passage, which takes you to another set of conveyors with another yellow crystal in the middle of them. That is the room I can't get thru. Sorry to be such a bother.

I feel terrible your stuck, it's the one thing I tried to avoid when I built 8 lands. But, we are going to figure it out Beckyj. It's hopefully something minor that we are overlooking. I am going to walk you through from where you found the magic boomerang. But, 1st, just to make sure we are on the same page- You are in the ice temple (or the fourth level)? You have at least the bow and arrows, magic boomerang, candle1 or 2, the hammer, hookshot, and three pieces of the triforce? By basement you mean the bottom floor of the temple? If yes to all of that, then try to follow along from where you got the magic boomerang.

IPB Image

This is room you mentioned in a previous post, where you thought you were stuck but noticed the crystal on the other side and it revealed a path to the other side. If you can go to this screen.

IPB Image

Just to the right of it is this screen. You should of entered through here by burning the ice rock to the right of the warp. Follow your way back to the entrance (there is only one way to go) until you get to this screen:

IPB Image

From there you will go through a gauntlet of "traps" that takes to you this room:

IPB Image

Which takes you to the boss.

I'm not able to pin down your location from this description, if I still haven't helped, a screenshot would help, if you can't do that explain in detail what the room looks like(enemies, etc..)

Best wishes to your family overseas!! I'm sure you are very proud.

The link marked with red stars was the room I was having problems with. I finally got thru it, using only one potion luckily. First couple of times I used both and couldn't get thru the boss. I finally did it though. Thanks so much for all your help.

Thank you, but I'm not real proud about my kids and grandkids. . Just scared half to death, and angry that we started the war in Iraq in the first place.

Wow! It is gonna take awhile to get thru these bosses. I did get the blue suit, the wand, a Super bomb and the mirror shield. Now there is another shield in Level 5. Is that a better one or the same one, because I can't figure out how to get it? I have to do the bosses with F4, and even then am having a hard time staying out of their way. Does anything else give them damage except the mirror shield?

Thanks again.

This is a tough room! You can only hurt them with their own beam, and you will see a lot more of these guys later icon_wacky.gif The best way to beat them is to stay against the walls but not the corners. If their backs are to you usually with a swipe of your sword they will turn around. You want to try to get them to start coming at you from as far away as possible. Once you get the first two, it's gets easier. Make sure to bring a full potion these guys will hit a couple of times.

Also, since you got the mirror shield and the superbombs, you can open up a new section of Hyrule field. That if you search enough around that area you will find a item that can make you invincible for a small amount of time. Then you could go back and defeat them. Good Luck!!

That item by hyrule field didn't make me invincible. Just more powerful.
When I wrote there's another shield, I really meant there is another WAND. (Alzheimers maybe?) Is it just like the one I bought? Because I couldn't get the one in Level 5.

Back again. I'm stuck in Level 6. I think I need a better glove because there are blocks I can't move. I have looked all over the entire map for one, but can't find it.

I found the mirror but it only worked in the one place where there is an icon for it???

From the entrance of the forgotten aquaduct go left and then down, use your whistle, this will take you where you need to go.

Do you mean the lens of truth?? If so, you only use that a couple of times, but they are for very valuable items. Look for one in the forgotten aquaduct

Yes, that's what I meant. Lens of Truth. icon_razz.gif (Darn alzheimers.) Sometimes I even forget my own name. icon_confused.gif

Thank you again.

The magic boomerang is in the fourth level(ice temple) which is in the land Frostpoint. That is in the NW corner of Hyrule field. Do you have the bow and arrow and the glove? If you do you can go to the fourth level. The whistle you will get later. Let me know if you have any other problems. Happy to help
