Yes, Sonic and Knuckles is fun, but to really get the full experience, you gotta hook it onto Sonic 3. Adds a save feature, twice as many levels, and Tails. Still fun to play without, but with the lack of a save feature, it'll be pretty hard to reach the true final boss. Plus you're only playing half of the giant game that is Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

I recently got a Sonic the Hedgehog T-shirt from walmart, I bought it then realized it was too big, and they only had it in one size, so I gave it to my friend at church.

I actually have two Sonic shirts. This one and this one. Definitely wearing one whenever I go to pick up Generations. But which one? Probably the first. icon_deformed.gif

So two good recent things. Good thing #1: I found my Genesis equipment, dusted it off, and played a few of the Genesis Sonic games for a bit for old times' sake. Strangely enough, when I popped in Sonic 3, there was no save data, so I played up to Carnival Night Zone, stopped, locked it onto Sonic & Knuckles, only to find my fully completed save file with all Emeralds on it. So I was glad that was still saved. I'm actually thinking of planning a playthrough of each Sonic game that will be represented in Generations, and would have preferred to use the Genesis versions of the originals, so this is good news for me. icon_razz.gif

Yeah, Adventure 2 is amazing. I need to get a new memory card so I can play through it again; my current one keeps corrupting SA2 data (and some other games) but says the rest of my games' saves are perfect, and I have no clue how to format it. D:
I figured this out. Apparently, Chao data corrupts the SA2 save files. I have one of those 1019-block cards, which apparently give issues in general, but if I play without stepping into the Chao garden, I'm safe. I completed the Hero story last night and will complete the rest of the game soon, and I'm reminded just how amazing SA2 was. Each Sonic level was perfectly designed and each one had its own trick to it that made it awesome; I honestly believe they could have picked any Sonic level from this game for Sonic Generations and I would have been happy with the decision.

... *goes to check on the file to make sure it's still in one piece*

... or not. Well, I was planning on buying a new memory card to switch it over while it was still intact, but oh well, I'll buy a new one and start over on that. I can honestly say I wouldn't mind playing the story through again. It's that fun. Well, so much for my euphoric moment. But at least I was able to have some fun with it while it still worked. icon_deformed.gif

I've played through and beaten Sonic Advance 1 in Sonic's mode. Haven't gotten to 2 or 3. It was an okay game, but I felt it suffered from the occasional misplaced enemy trademark of Dimps design. The music didn't stand out to me; the only track I can remember is [s]Sky Sanctuary[/b] Angel Island zone's track, and Egg Rocket to some extent. It was a good game, nowhere near as good as the Genesis ones though.

As far as Advance 2 goes, all I've heard were bad things about both its gameplay and music. I've heard tracks, and they've sounded very grating and, well, almost as bad as Sonic Rush. I haven't played it yet; I intend to at some point but the bad rap has made me hesitant. icon_shrug.gif

@TS The First Is Kinda alright But There is the issue of misplaced enemys
I mean God Like every Few Seconds I hit some enemy That Seems Out of place In that Game.. But The game too me is Pretty Enjoyable Too me..even The Little issues It has Here and there But I Try To ignore things Like That.

And about Sonic Advance 2...where did you hear the bad rap??
I mean the gameplay is Freaking Awesome Too me, The Only thing i see annoying out of the whole game is the "Music plant Zone"
GOD that whole zone is so annoying!! The Music Will make your ears Bleed!!!
Its just that Bad icon_lol.gif

But The gamePlay is Pretty Good Though icon_biggrin.gif
I say stop being hesitant and go get it and try it
I mean You may Like it you may not But Heck Give it a try

And another Thing theres a Sonic advance 3??
I'll have to look That Up icon_lol.gif

Sonic Advance was my first Sonic game, and I love it to death. I know everything about it, inside and out. Well I used to anyways, forgot where some of the special stages are. But I've beaten it with every character, got all the emeralds, seen all the good endings, all that stuff. Still one of my favorite Sonic games.

And that would probably be from me. Advance 2 was crap. It was the precursor to Sonic Rush, where they started focusing only on speed, and it shows. I've beaten multiple levels just by holding down the right button, and not pressing anything else. That is a sure sign of serious design flaws. The bosses aren't too good either, just constant running. The final boss was the only real plus for the game.

There is, and you should get it. It's loads better than Advance 2, and probably better than Advance 1, though I can't really judge that cuz nostalgia's blinding me. The tag team system was nice (even if it's never used outside the final boss), the stage design was nice, and it was just a good game overall.

I guess....I guess it'll take some time for me to love Sonic advance 1
Its just hard Cuz There seems to be and issue
Where the enemys Just Kinda show up at random times
I believe My cartridge has a problem or something with it

Oh Come I do not see a issue With Advance 2 except the Music Plant Zone!
And How the heck Did you beat multiple levels just by holding down the right button?
And the Boss's are alright...But I Do hate the running after the boss's :-\

Go to the lava place (forgot the name), I think act 1 (might be 2, but pretty sure it's 1). Hold down right. Observe. Or here, video:

So he had to jump twice (once was unnecessary, I think). See what I mean by pore stage design now?
