The music in this quest is one of the best things about it bar none.

I am having the same problem as Jerome did earlier. I cannot get past the room in Level 3 that leads to the boss door. I have tried standing everywhere and pushing every way possible, and I just keep getting warped out of that room. I am beyond frustrated. Could someone please tell me exactly where to stand and how to do it? Thanks!
Through sheer dumb luck I got through it, but here's what I did:
Find the "hidden" fairy spot in the middle, it saves you a few screens of travel when you warp back. It has a "Continue Here" set on the Dmap so it can save you a bit of time when you mess up and get warped back. Whenever I warped back I just hit F6->CONT and was that much closer. You may call it cheating, I call it not breaking my computer from aggrevation.
When you get to the room-
Have your hammer ready
Start by the lower right block, as low as you can without being behind it.
Run straight left and then start hitting up occasionally
Get to the right of the hammer posts
Try like hell to hammer them without getting warped out.
Cuss when you miss it
Take a bottle of Tylenol to relieve the tension headache you've caused yourself.
Cuss again later when he replaces the direct warps with damage tiles instead making it even that much more impossible. If anyone says they zero-gamed this quest without using any cheats or F6->CONT or F6->SAVE then CONT, they are lieing.
Helpful note: When you get to the level with the conveyor and damage combos and you see one that you say "That's impossible to get through without taking damage" just save right there. RETRY will be your new friend so you don't have to keep leaving to get a potion.
F%^&ing conveyors.

Each different colored crystal is triggered by a different boomerang. The whistle you will need to access a new land, the path can be opened after you get superbombs.
It's very important to return to the village to grab the rings/etc... The damage increases quickly if you don't have the current ring.

I can't find the arrows. I went back over every place I've been and still can't find it, but I'm not sure I cleared all of the dessert though. Are you supposed to have to keep going to a different screen before you go right or down? That was the only way I could open up more areas.
I have the blue bow, book, wallet, ladder, hookshot, hammer, red candle, and 9 hearts.
This sure is a neat game.

Thanks Beckyj4, The arrows are located in Hyrule Field. In a house similar to the one with the bow in it, search near the beach area. It has an arrow above the door. Also, I posted a reply to your post about the room before the 3rd boss. I hoped that helped!!

Yes, I found your post about Boss 3. I had to use the cheat.
I wanted to bring this back to the original thread as long as it is working.
Thank you for the help with the arrows.
Have you started another Quest yet? Otherwise, I really need to do this one as slowly as possible, because this is the first time in months I could find a Quest I could play, and I'm not that bad.

Thank you again. I'm glad to hear you say that because I have gotten the weirdest feedback on my quest, about how the palettes were colored and other odd critiques. This is my first submission and I think it is pretty fun. I'm glad you do to. It doesn't have the complicated story like some of these other quests. But, I haven't mastered ZQuest like some of these questmakers. They can do amazing things- but I will stand by my work, that Eight Lands is a quality quest worthy of any Zelda fans time.
BTW The quest idea I had for my next game is a star wars based arcade style game. The story would have a dark side/light side choice and be set up like an old skool side-scroller. I have all the pieces I need, just need the motivation I guess here's a screenshot:

ALSO- I started an Eight Lands Help thread, you can use that if you need help!!

I never got into Star Wars, but I will give it a try when you submit it.
I'm sorry you have been getting negative feedback, and I feel it is totally unwarrented. Maybe I should explain why I like your Quest so well. It used to be that a player could go all the way thru a Quest asking very few, if any questions. No more. Now you are lucky if you can even get thru the first Dungeon that way. Well I got all the way to the boss of the 3rd Dungeon on 8 Lands, and then it wasn't a question. Of course I realize it took a lot of work on your part to figure out what hints to give.
BTW, it takes me a long time to get thru a Quest. I'm only halfway thru Level 4.
Thank you again.

You are at Frostpoint? Or are you in the fourth dungeon? You should be able to get the master sword, check the village. It's always a good idea to check back in the village after you get items. You don't have the superbombs yet.
In level four, there are two floors and each warp spot warps you to the exact location on the other floor. Search for the magic boomerang, it will allow you to continue on in the level. If you have the boomerang and still are lost, check back at the beginning of the level for a crystal switch you can hit. Hope I helped, let me know if you are still stuck.
