Ctrl-clicking works, of course, but it's still not as convenient.

I'm pretty sure you know this already, but the key board is screwed up. Not sure if this is the case with the string editor, however, when you edit the script buffer, many keys do the wrong thing, or nothing at all. This will make working on my quest hard, so can someone please remember to fix this by RC4?
Quick question. Are you using win7/vista, and if so did you try the patched allegro42.dll from Saffith that contained the fix by Colossal for the keyboard keys?
PS; You should really use an external text editor and NOT the built-in one that was never meant to be used for anything more than simply viewing of the buffer. What you should do is simply type : import "myScript.z"; that way you never have to load anything, just hit compile and your done.

Where is this? I've looked through most of this thread and I didn't find it. Can someone give me a link?

I haven't had to actually use it since RC3 (I think). I used to have the exact same keyboard problem.
Edit: Now that I think about it, the problem may have gone away because I did an operating system re-install with a different version of Windows 7. I was using Ultimate when I had the problem and I'm using Professional now. The DLL still fixed things for me when I was having the problem in Ultimate, though.

but once (MAYBE twice) a looping MIDI just stopped altogether.
I didn't leave the DMap, it's possible that I warped from one screen
to another on the same DMap, but I'm not sure about that, as I said
I haven't seen it again recently.
