Getting the subscreen cleaned and done, as you can tell! The hearts work perfect, thanks to Cukeman and myself. Magic still needs work, and still need tiles, obviously! icon_razz.gif

But of course, please tell me what you think of the screen! icon_biggrin.gif

I like the screen, but there are too many pots and how the fact that the holes along the bottom walls have no light shining though like the south door makes them look weird.

A few curtains would complete the screen, other then that, it's a good entrance screen.

Thank you Shane! The holes at the bottom of the screen are supposed to be those small holes that knights shoot arrows through...but I think they look okay. :s

Updated the magic meter's colors (Like you suggested!) and got rid of pots.

I don't mean remove them but change the black into white so it looks like there is light shining through.

Improvements look good BTW!

I don't like how the bottom half of the 2x2 tree is blocky and the other half is all smooth. Other then that it looks good, but I love your PR work more.

Looks solid except for the center of the tall grass randomly not being tall. icon_razz.gif I dunno, that just looks weird to me. Otherwise, I like it.

I like it Shane. The screen is a hybrid of GB and has elements of something that would be ZC-esque. The palette is marvelous and quite fitting.

Reality

I wanted to aim for nature, and what it truly is. Despite appearance, this screen is navigable. Trees and shrubbery do grow without boundaries, therefore I felt the invasive vegetation is quite well. And the colors, so magical.
By the way, this is a custom tileset I'm still working on. The majority of the tiles will be recolored and redesigned.

Wow, amazing screen! The trees look awesome, and the water too! The greens and blues look great together! No complaints icon_cool.gif

Windows would help! The rug looks a little plain, but that's expected. Maybe a broken bottle if it's a bar or something?

Beautiful screen, although I feel a lot of screens like that could get repetitive in game using plain ol' Z1 scrolling. If you had a Z3 scrolling system set up, that would be the perfect design of an area.

Looks good Marco, but I don't like your edited shrooms and other nature objects, they look too jagged. Also, the black color on the grass to sand transitions is a little too much. But the trees look good. :)

I like this screen. Though it doesn't exactly lack colours, since it's a dungeon, I think there is too much brown. The only thing I think you should definitely change are the pseudo-wall/barriers. Maybe make them a colour alike the colour of the brick walls.
