Unfortunately, no. It's all in the timing of your A button presses. I may make the max velocity lower in a future update.

While I did notice that it was possible, I guarantee you I didn't do such a thing. Many Links were lost in that fight, but damn did it feel good to beat it.

So guys: for the balloon fight area, should I decrease the max velocity, give more room to move, make the spikes not instant kill, multiple of these options, or make no changes at all?

As it stands right now, I'm getting the hang of the balloon area. You just need patience and practice to navigate. I'm getting hopelessly stuck in the second room with the moving spike balls. I haven't seen the later half of the level so I can't say I know whether or not anything needs immediate changing, but from what I've played, I think it's alright.

I died many times in that balloon area before I got the hang of hovering. Then I just took it slow.

I beat the final boss earlier today on normal.

I probably died the most to the Phantos. Those guys are tough.

...that's got to go. It's the single hardest room in the quest and requires near perfect mastery of the balloon physics. I'm fairly sure that's what's tripping most people up. That room is also the only thing standing between you and level 3, which is thankfully a bit of a breather despite the theme being-oops there I go again, I almost spoiled the fun! I'm curious to see people's reactions to the final boss. Or actually, people's reactions to anything in this quest. If it wasn't so hard, it'd be perfect for a blind LP.

Take your time on Balloon hill Its a Doozy

I'm sure i'll get though it sometime today. Ha ha ha

But my god i've been at this Level all morning Balloon Hill Is PURE EVIL!!
I make it the the area with a bunch of moving spikes and that's as far as i can get

You would give a cheat? If you did i would only use it just for Balloon Hill that's all

Got passed The Balloon Hills first area
I'm a cheater <_< But i couldn't get passed that part at all
but wish me luck on the rest of the dungeon
i'm not cheating on that

So I've been working on an update (already I'm updating this thing?). What do you guys think of the new death bar?

Also secret dungeon and secret item spoilolers.

2.0 is here! This nifty little update adds a secret dungeon that you can potentially miss (if you got the bow in level 2, you missed it) with a custom boss at the end. I'm leaving the 1.0 link up because I'm not sure if 2.0 added any bugs. Pictures coming...eventually.

Oh. Hello gigantic overlooked bug. You can just walk out of the last room in the quest where you get the password and onto layer screens. *facepalm*

I'm at the final area now, and reached the final boss. You were rather...generous during that fight. (Though I haven't beat it yet. XD)

Level 3 was also pretty interesting. Is it wrong that I wasn't all that shocked when I entered the left half of the dungeon?
