You get to the 5th land through the village. Look for somewhere to use your magic boomerang!

I am trying to get into the volcano area to get to level 7 but I am not sure how to cross the lava in the southwest area of hyrule field.

You need the boots to cross the lava. Try looking around in Hyrule Village. There will be a spot to use your whistle.

Ok I found the boots under the statue but I still can't cross the lava with them.

What's with the big chest to the west of the start screen, where you have to bomb the big rock to cross the bridge? The chest was empty.

Great quest HybridHyrule. Thanks for the hint. I just finished the first 2 levels. Good block puzzles so far but I hope they don't get too hard as the games progresses. Just a few quick questions. Is a money bag available before level 3? I've bought everything and I'm sitting with 255 ruppees. Also I have 7 hearts and was wondering if I should have gotten the white sword before doing level 2.

I have 3 hearts, blue candle, 1/2 potion, bombs, boomerang,...
and a magic sword. Did you plan this? Or is this an oops?

But where's level 1? seriously, where is it?

Level 1 is to the west of Hyrule field, in Hyrule Forest. You need the boomerang to get into the house in the north of the forest. You also have to go to the west of the house in a tree to take care of some switches in there that will open up some paths in level 1.

I've beaten level 3 and still can't find the bow? Where did I miss it?

edit: never mind. Of course, right after I posted this I found the bow.

How did you get the magic sword without the superbombs??

I just used a regular bomb.
In case you are wondering, yes I am using 2.10.0. So it's not a version issue conflict. Just so that's out of the way.

Thanks Jerome for finding that, something as small as the wrong bomb flag can alter a lot about the quest, obviously you are not supposed to get to the bridge until you have superbombs. I have updated the link.

There are a decent amount of glitches for sure. Every time you use the whistle it takes you to the top left part of the screen and most of the time you get stuck. Then you can move around black screens until you find your way out or have to quit. I am now at the level 7 boss and I realize I need the blue ring or red ring because it does too much damage. Any idea where I can find my defense improving items?

Ya I had trouble with the whistle warps.

As far as the rings, check in the Village for them.

What's supposed to be in the big chest surrounded by hammer blocks in the village house? It sounds like i pick something up but nothing looks different.
