Alright I've come to a halt in gameplay...

The first boss is just about impossible. I used all the potion getting there and I can not survive this onslaught of fireballs.
This this is freaking hard just for the beginning of the game.

Here's a tip: Roc's feather breaks the fight. He'll hardly be able to hit you. If you need more potions, bomb the cliff one south of the house on Arbor Islet to get more. If you're really stuck after all that, I can make an easier version of the boss, but he's honestly not that hard, especially compared to the first bosses of some of the other recent quests I've been playing.

Well I'm giving up here on the boss, this is ridiculous. It is just way to freaking hard, I mean if the player had some more hearts or something it might be doable, but without more hearts i don't even believe its possible for me get passed it.

And whats the deal with outrageous prices on potions!?
I mean just to get a potion you have to spend way to much time grinding for Rupees which I dislike doing...
And after you buy a potion with only 3 hearts you can blaze through a whole potion in a matter of seconds.

With only three hearts the potions is a whole waste. Sorry I know this is pretty harsh.
But I wanted to say whats on my mind about this whole thing.

Plus, when you jump, you cannot hit the boss, plus the heats doing a full heart... OY...

Ventus there are 2 heart pieces hidden in the dungeon. And since 2 pieces of heart equal one heart container, this makes the fight easier!

But yes, there are two heart halves. From the staircase up to the boss lock (the screen with the pool of water), go left one screen, then up, and bomb your way into the building for one. For the second, from the start, go right, up, right, up, through the building, and bomb the north wall.

With four heart containers, 4 potions, and attacks that only do 1/2 a heart of damage, if you wait til the right time to heal, you essentially have 18 hearts for the fight. PLUS, the game auto-refills your health after the first part of the fight. I really don't think that's too tough. But, like I said, if people absolutely need it, I can give out an easier version of the fight. I don't want difficulty holding back people from playing something they'd otherwise enjoy.

Okay I got them both, I'll have to grind for some rupees again and buy a 200 rupee potion now.
And then I'll tackle that boss one more time. And thanks for the info Russ.

It might be idea, But Its probably just me because I suck at dodging fireballs. :\

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, hold it right there. The potion's only 80 rupees. You must be playing a really old version of the quest. Go download the newest version of it from the database right away.

It seems I am playing an old version... Hmm well I guess I'll have to pick up the new version. <_<
And I did get passed the boss though thank god for that.

LIving Island....I have a regular key left but don't have the boss key....I need help getting the boss key....I've opened up the 3 gates; there is a room to the left on the bottom that I just can't get to the blue treasure box in the upper right hand corner



I don't know if the boss key is in thar or not, me matey....sending out an S O S

You can use your bombchus in that room to get past the red tile on the left, and use it to hit the switch at the bottom of the room. That will get you the key there. Take both keys, and go back to the room where you go the heart half. Bomb through the wall between the two pillars.

I have played this quest in such a non-linear fashion ( usual for me) some times (most times) I forget/don't finish where I have been. Case in point...




how do I get past this this to the screen above where I use the ocarina?? Thanks...as always!!

You won't be able to get past there and up to the Heavens until you've collected all four of the Lights of Lunari.
