I think I need a key with Dracus to press a switch in the Sky Tower, but no luck -_- help?Another great idea wasted by the bad level design. It's very annoying, I killed the same enemies forever to open the same paths hundred of times...

That room with the 4 torches... I waited 10 minutes, until the dragons decided to burn all the torches -_-

Funny, I never had a problem with that. For me, they always lit the torches so quickly I was afraid people wouldn't even notice.

There are three keys for Dracus. One is in Area 2, in the top left screen. To lower the blocks in the way, you have to, as Link, go the staircase on top of the mountain in Area 1, up the stairs, and bomb the crack in the right wall. That'll lead you to where you can lower the blocks to get the key. That's probably the one you're missing; seems like a lot of people don't see the cracks in the wall. The other two keys are in Area 4, at the bottom right, and bottom center.

Edit: The fire boomerang's good for pretty much everything Jared. icon_razz.gif

Meh... the only thing that saves this quest a bit, Living Island and some of the bosses and scripts. I liked the final boss, but the final dungeon was very disappointing.

I imagine how would be this quest without scripts, and it makes me laugh. Seriously, you need to rethink your level design style, Living island is the path...

There are two things you should add, if you at least want the quest to be playable:

1) Possibility of skip the intro.
2) Add warps to the submarine dungeon

I think you need to make a more traditional little quest to enhance your desing skills (without scripts).

It makes me sad when I see so much effort, but the end result is far from satisfactory. At least is better than Light of the Heavens DX...

PROS:

-Very unique quest
-New bosses
-Living Island
-Two character system
-Backtrack to find optional bosses.
-Moral choices

CONS:
-Dracus is boring
-Level design
-No overworld
-Story
-Annoying water effects
-The long intro
-Empty zones (Palm island)
-Few secrets
-Lots of glitches

Rating: 3/10

Well, congrats on beating the game, and on getting the best ending! And thanks for listing out all the pros and cons. Even though you didn't like it, your feedback's really helping me figure out what I did well and what I did badly. I'll take it all into consideration, and hopefully my next quest will be something you'll enjoy. Thanks for playing all the way through!

Thanks to you, for your patience. I just want to help you to realize the flaws of the quest. I like ambitious people, your quest is unique, but you fail in the basic stuff. The main flaws of Light of the Heavens are absent here, so, it is a great improvement.

Keep making new quests icon_wink.gif

Making a critique with a list of pros and cons in a single reply is most helpful for the questmaker, I would think. However, derisive comments, such as these nuggets miscellaneously placed throughout this forum have little redeeming value and only serve to hurt. -- ------- "your quest makes me lazy"
- "Living Island must have been a rare moment of lucidity....a good script and nothing more. The boss was a joke."
- "Dialogue lines are the same as any mediocre anime series."
- "It's easily one of the worst dungeons that I played in ZC in years."
- "Design of the game is terrible...completely linear and uninspired."
Amazingly enough, these harsh comments have come from a player who admits he has never made a quest, BUT if he sees 'something real bad' then he has to say it. To which, I would request that you spare us the pompous, hurting comments and just stick with a bullet list of pros and cons without the flaming touches.

Just use the orbitars to sponge up all attacks and hurl them back . The orbitars charge up and I believe you see a whirlwind when they are fully charged then you hit the A button.

The area you are referring to...well, my help is not so good there. You have to back track a lot in this dungeon to find the keys press the buttons and then go to the passes that open and there were so many I don't remember the order. Look at the map to see where you have and have not been. I believe the passes show on the map once you have opened them sorry I couldn't be more help. If you don't get it soon I am sure Russ will come along, he is always very helpful. Rusty memory - last key botton left????? Could be wrong, the mind goes

While I appreciate that you're defending me/the quest, it's alright. Everybody has opinions. Air Luigi doesn't like my quest, and that's perfectly fine. I'm not gonna get offended or anything because he says he doesn't like it. I'm perfectly okay with it. So thanks for coming to my aid, but it's really not necessary.

You'll be coming back to the area to the north in a bit; don't worry about it now. As for the Orbitars...

QUOTE
Okay, I'd you hold them out, they'll absorb fire and magic attacks. So they're kind of like a shield for projectiles. But, there's two things you can do with them. If you let to of the button to bring them back in, they'll refill your health and magic, depending on his many attacks they absorbed. OR, if you let them absorb enough attacks so that they then into whirlwinds, you can press A to have them shoot homing fireballs. They're really helpful for the next level. But arrows or lynel attacks pop them, so be careful.

Hey Russ, I ran into a prob. It's with the fight at the "Heavens Dungeon". The one with Dracus and Markus... Yeah that one. After I defeat Markus, be it with the fire rod or the Light of the Heavens, the game crashes. You see, when Markus says all of those strange words and "crashes" on the earth, a window appears and says "zelda.exe has stopped and Windows is trying to find a solution". I had this happen for like 5 times. I think it is my OS...

What do you think? By the way I am running Windows 7 Home Basic. Please help man, I wanna finish this awesome quest!!! :slycool:

Well dangit. This is the second time that's happened. The first time, the person was using Windows 8, and after he switched to XP, it worked fine. As far as I can tell, it's ZC and the operating system getting into a fight and crashing. I have no idea what it's happening, but I can send you a version of the quest that just bypasses the boss altogether and goes straight to the end-of-level cutscene, if you like.
