Okay, I'm on Level Zelda in the game, and I have gone all the way through it except the compass Marker, and at the end of the long path, the old man just says, "THE FIRST OVERWORLD"

Has anyone beaten this yet? If so, can you help me out. I love this quest, and I really want to finish it.

The old man is actually referring to a bonus area of sorts and doesn't relate to finishing that level.

There's actually 5 final Zelda levels, the one you get is determined by which Level 9 had Zelda at the end. Which shape is this one in? (They come in shapes Z, E, L, D and A)

To the Boss Door: From start, up, right, walkthrough wall right, up, up, right, walkthrough wall up, walkthrough wall up again, bomb wall up, bomb wall left, up, right, walkthrough wall right and take passage.

I don't recall where the Boss Key was unfrotunately.

As a note: I checked it in Modern version. I recall the dungeons being the same in both versions though.

Ya there is no boss key in the classic version. Also, i have been here before, and the door is a one way shutter and there is no way to open it, which is what I was wondering.

Never mind, got it. It was a wierd block to push, which I had tried before, but didn't work. I finished the game with 2 items short of the max. So close!

Just finished this quest.  Lots of items to pick up.  In the Zelda level (I had "A"), the old man says something about "Dive to the east."  Where do you dive?  There's a lot of water areas to search.

I think you need the lens in the docks area on the far right side...use a super bomb where the lens tells you (if you have the lens) and then dive that spot with the flippers.

I found 126/127 of the items in this quest, still missing 1. It's the one below the medal and in-between the boots and scrolls.

Looks like it's just a lot of free money.  Was there anything else with this alternate overworld?

Yes, 127/127 at the end.  Satisfying to see that.  Now onto the Modern version

You sure you aren't thinking of bomb bags and those jewel bags?

If Hero of Fire hasn't changed anything in the item locations in the menu screen, then it should be the rumble pack, or the rumble stone, or something like that. Its a grey stone and it is completely usesless.

the Stone Of Agony you mean? OK Thanks.

I've done a Default Random, a Custom Random, and a no Random...and I got 122, 126 and 126 respectively. I'm gonna try Default Random again and see if I can finally get all 127.

I don't think anything goes under that space.  I had 127 when I finished.  Do you have a screen shot of what you have.  Maybe can tell what's missing.
