What is Cube World? Imagine the offspring of Minecraft and the Legend of Zelda having a child. It looks freaking amazing, and I'd also buy this day one upon release =D.

Well it's not a pure sandbox like Minecraft. You'll be able to customize weapons and build things from pre-defined plans, but the game isn't a builder, it's an Adventure/Online RPG, which is automatically going to make it win over Minecraft for me XD. Building only contains me but for so long; I wanna explore and beat the crap out of things with a fun combat system! Which reminds me, I'm so going to be a Ranger/Archer on here XD. Bows look like a ton of fun!

I'm pretty sure you can do single player too. It's just like Minecraft; most people just talk about the Online aspect, but you still have single player mode.

What caught my attention was the bit where it showed the player customizing their equipment's appearance. I'm going to assume from the later parts of the video that you can customize your character the same way.

 

So, 'fess up. How many of you guys are already planning out how to make your character look like Link and give him a Master Sword? Honestly, I want to make my guy look like he's whipping around a Keyblade.

I don't think the character customization is that vivid.  I know you can choose your race, and hairstyle, but I don't think it's as intense as you make it sound.  Though if it were, screw Zelda, I'd make my character look like my own characters from World of Chaos II.

I'm sure someone's going to make a mod for that.  Didn't stop them from doing it with Terraria and Minecraft.
