I was wondering if you guys would be interested in me composing most, if not all, of the OST music from Skyward Sword? I have the game, and I have enjoyed the soundtrack so far, but I was wondering if you guys would be interested in a midi set?

That sounds like an awesome idea! Of course, don't let it get in the way of you enjoying the game. A new Zelda game doesn't come along that often, enjoy it.

Don't worry, I will enjoy the game. I may start composing when I finish the game. It has a very nice OST, I've kinda grown a bit fond of it.

Only bad thing is I can't afford to buy it right now... So I'll have to wait. But I am looking forward to it, especially since I don't mind motion controls in general. Sorry, off topic...

I vote yes, if you can manage it. They'd be pretty useful, I'd imagine, and heck, you could submit them to VGMusic as well.

Sounds like it would be a pretty cool idea. I'd have a bit better opinion if I actually knew more of the songs other then the Main Theme. I've stayed away from spoilers that much, where I know only the Main Theme! It would be pretty cool for you to midify them though!

I think the main MIDI I'd like to see is Girahim's battle theme. I'd like to see how you handle the evil carnival aura of it.

I think a nice Faron's Woods midi would be nice. I'm also addicted to the Fire Sanctuary theme. And some of the Lanaryu Themes (particularly the past version of the Mining Facility).

But, pretty much anything would be nice.

I think if you did this it would be quite appreciated. Personally, my favorites are the main theme and "The Sky" theme. The Bazaar would also be fun, just because of the extremely unique approach it takes to "variations on a theme."

Oh, and by the way: it isn't composing, since you didn't write the music; with MIDIs it's called "sequencing" the songs. Although I guess you could also call it "transcribing" if you like that word better.

Oh heck yes! I already started on that one before I even made this topic poll! I feel that music just made the fight against girahim all the more epic.

I got that Faron Woods theme stuck in my head. I've been whistling it for the past three days....i hope no one's annoyed with me in the house.. I also LOVE the fire sanctuary theme.

I was actually keeping those in mind when I was thinking of my first ones. Sequencing sounds good to me. Yeah, sorry about that.

Alrighty then Jared, I can start with the first one. I already started that flute melody since a lot of songs from that game use it, plus it is a very beautiful theme. I like the sound of that bamboo flute for some reason.
