If people remember this, then they have been around since I used to do SotW. The last one I did was SotW101 back in October 2005. Gashin has done well with it, and made some good improvements. I'm very happy about things that have happened. But, you know I am back, and you just wanna see the shots now. Here they are, for you viewing pleasure.

Nostalgia sets in with a shot from a quest from the past. (Land of Cornelia will be revived soon enough.)

It was very enjoyable doing this all over again. I missed actually doing something that people could visually see, and enjoy. Thanks for looking everyone! ^_^

Nice shots everyone:

Pikaguy900: I like the design of the screen and subscreen. Its just hard to turn something like metroid into ZC, so some combos just look out of place (not saying thats your fault

)
Daiv: A nice title screen, looks like a bit more work could be done though

Link75: An overall Nice shot. Theres something that urks me about the rain though

Zeldafreak: Too square and too boring, sorry... It doesnt even look like it can be used in a quest
Hero Link: VOTES Nice shot. Everything looks quite natural in it.

pikaguy gets my vote. The shot is good and interesting, and that smoke looks oh so familiar...

Other screens are not bad, but they're so very average. Better luck next time.

Shots that rely on subscreens and title screens... agh. Daiv's is a nice title screen, and there's nothing wrong with pikaguy900's subscreen, but neither shot is very dynamic at all. (Admittedly, title screens are non-dynamic by nature, but hey, that's why they shouldn't normally win SOTW...)

True, true. Link75 actually has a very well-designed shot; the only flaw is that there isn't anything going on in the screen at all.

However, it is just distinguished enough to garner my vote. Nice job.

Umm... Thanks? Please take note that I'll accept any suggestions you can give me to make my subscreen look better, even if it has to do with a border... Still, I think I'll keep trying to come up with that perfect Super Metroid-style look for my subscreen. That's what I'm going for there.

Edit: Oh yeah, I nulled. I didn't see any point in voting when I'm in it. I rarely vote anyways. Still, it surprises me that I was in the lead when I nulled... I figured no one would vote for me!

I wish we could have our screenshots changed... I finally made my subscreen look more like the bar at the top of the screen in Super Metroid, including those green boxes...
