Cave to Overworld warp by Dechipher

Ever want to warp from a cave to an overworld without using doors or stairs? Here you go.

Just set it on a screen as a layer, transparent.

This is the Zelda 64 style one, the one with the square tile and the beam of light coming out of it. You should only need 2 colors to use it.

Chests that Begin with the Letter L by ebd
Updated: 08 Aug 2005 Posted: 08 Aug 2005 Tags: 16-color, Dungeon, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.38/5 (7 ratings) Information:
My first submission to Pure ZC sports a plethora of chests entirely custom drawn (by me :D) save one. From top to bottom (in the actual file, not the pointless screenshot :P) the chests are: Labyrinth, Lattice, LTTP, Lumber, Light Blue, Linen, Living, Leaf, Luggage, Liquified, and Large.

They use their own pallete which I am using in my quest. It shouldn't be to hard to recolor for Pure or any other set though.
Circuit Breaker Block Switch by Radien

I had this idea for taking advantage of the way push blocks work for an easy switch animation. I tried it out, and it seemed to work. :) So I made some tiles specifically for it.

Before you rate these tiles, make sure you know how they work. I've provided detailed examples in the preview shots.

It's important that there be two tiles in the center, surrounded by the edges of the object on separate tiles. Make sure it all matches what you see in the examples. It might also be a good idea to [View Full Description]

These are tiles used in Magma Tower in: A New Dawn. Note that these were made before the default tileset came with background tiles. Stairs and windows are included.

You will need to set up 6 shades of gray from lightest ti darkest on Cset 0, starting on color 7.

Joe123 originally submitted Z1 Cave doors but he made a mistake! He forgot to include right and bottom facing doors. I didn't include any bomb doors though, but if someone requests them I'll be happy to do so in a update.

If you want to add some depth to your classic dungeons, then these tiles are for you! These include doorway tiles for the lower level areas. Also, the tiles in the last column of shot 2 (and the last 2 rows of shot 1 in the middle) are for "bridges" that use the lower tiles for the doors.

Shot 1 is from the tile view. Shot 2 is from combo page view (editing out the white lines, of course). I included both shots 1 and 2 in the zip file so you can choose which one to grab from. Plus, I've inclu [View Full Description]

Heh, that's not a very good description, but... yeah, my sixth submission! :D These are the Classic Dungeon tiles set up so that you can use them in dungeon carving mode! It took me a couple hours or so to figure it all out, but I did, and I thought it was worth submission!

This download comes with a bunch of all-new tiles as well that I had to draw by hand (which wasn't too hard, since these are Classic style after all), so keep that in mind. ;)

Anyhow, I tried to make these tiles extre [View Full Description]

These are tiles that I made while playing around with zquest. They don't have much use to me, but perhaps someone can use them. They were designed to be compatible with the classic tile set. Includes: Torch tiles for fire combo, and 2 different sword/boomerang combo swiches (as seen from most modern 3D LoZ games.)
