DoR Crusted Lava by Radien

With any luck, the DoR tileset will be out within a couple months, but these custom tiles have been in demand so I'm releasing them a bit early. I made them because I felt ZC needed a new type of lava.

This lava is the "crusted and flaming" type. I got the idea for these tiles from Alundra, a Zelda-like game on the Playstation 1. However, they are NOT rips; I drew them by hand.

There are many ways to use these tiles. Some of you may discover that you don't need all of them. So design away, [View Full Description]

Cloud and Sky Tiles - Animated by Radien

UPDATE!

This still stands as my highest-rated Loose Tile submission, so I decided it as high time I gave it an update. You see, when I first finished it, I was so inexperienced that I thought a bunch of 4-tile animations was complicated enough to require a QST file. I also started to butcher BS CSet 5, because I didn't know how to layer mountains on top of clouds.

Anyway, I've remedied it to be easy-to-use and useful for the common designer. These tiles are available in New BS, [View Full Description]

I made these myself, you can use them instead of the Triforce Markings.
And the image has a new palette too, I call it the summer palette.
Dungeon Set by link3505

Noir showed a screenshot of some wall tiles he made, and in an effort to show him up, I made some and gave them to him. I also submitted them to the database, with the promise of updating them.

And here's the update. These are no longer just dungeon walls, but now more of a dungeon set. Now, it cannot be said these are a complete set of tiles, as there are a few more things I know I can add, but those will come later.

These were made with simplicity in mind, but as a habbit, I did make som [View Full Description]
Large Fountain by Questwizard
Updated: 12 Mar 2009 Posted: 12 Mar 2009 Tags: 16-color, Decoration, and 2 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.75/5 (7 ratings) Information:
This is a large fountain I made for this request: https://www.purezc.co...howtopic=40037.

It is in the DoR 2.0 overworld palette, though it should be fairly easily recolorable for other sets.

Recommended animation speeds are listed on the tilesheet. "F" is frame count, and "S" is speed of course. I'd use those speeds as a starting point, and try to put both sides of the water tiles on different speeds to avoid making the whole thing look too symmetrical.
DoR Update Tile Pack By Linkus by Linkus

Basically a compilation of tiles made for DoR.

Most explain themselves; however, a few don't. So, I'll explain certain ones:

First the canopy is for attaching to a large wall. Trying to have it stand alone will need some editing.

Second, the two small signs you see are actually for two different things - The larger is for a wall that's more than 16 pixels high, while the smaller is for walls that are at or slightly less than 16 pixels.

As for everything else, it should be obvious wha [View Full Description]
Simple Great Deku Face by Pasakoye

Here is a simple face of The Great Deku tree made in "Dance of Remembrance Tileset Update v1.9 and 2.0".
It's not spectacular and it was built for the Tall Tree seen in the screenshot, but as you can see, I found other places to put it.
It's mainly used for entrances but I'm sure you can plaster it on anything or use it in another tile set if you edit it.

Brown is the original. use for mountains/wood.
Grey is alternate color, use for stony surfaces.
Blue is simpler, because it uses less [View Full Description]
Assorted Stone Statues (1) by ShadowTiger
Updated: 17 Apr 2005 Posted: 17 Apr 2005 Tags: Decoration, Interior, and 2 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.75/5 (11 ratings) Information:
Just some misc stone statues I ripped from RPGMaker chipsets. I won't say it didn't take a while. :XD: But I think it was worth it. There's some pretty good stuff in there. (Though I'm afraid that what you see if what you get.) These should all be for the standard Pure Dungeon colors.
Minish Cap Dungeon Tiles for Pure by Evile

Some dungeon tiles that I ripped from The Minish Cap and recolored into the Pure set.
These tiles require some layering and such but overall they aren't that hard to use.

I use these in layers 6 and 7 to obscure the playing field. Transparency on and off work well.
64x64 Large Trees for Classic by Anthus
Updated: 22 Apr 2012 Posted: 22 Apr 2012 Tags: Overworld, Decoration, and 1 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.73/5 (10 ratings) Information:
These are large trees I blew up, and rounded off for the Classic set. They were pretty simple to make, but I thought they might come in handy, since the Classic set is completely lacking in the large tree department.

The original blacks in the trees that used the transparent color have been changed to use the first solid black in c-set 2 of the overworld palette. Just a heads up if you've changed that black, cause it will effect the trees. This was done to free up the transparency for layerin [View Full Description]

These are going to be part of a pack that I'm in the process of making. I just figured that I'd go ahead and make them available now, since the pack probably won't be done for awhile.

They require no special palettes, or any alteration. Just rip `em.

Tile description & setup is as followed..

Shot 1 - A new type of red molblin that I ripped from the public ML set. - CSet: 8

ALttP/ FS Title Screen Mountain Scene by Anthus
Updated: 02 Mar 2007 Posted: 02 Mar 2007 Tags: Misc, Greenery, and 3 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.71/5 (6 ratings) Information:
This is a nice submission I put together after realizing there are very few panoramic view things in the database. So, I ripped these. These came straight from the ROM map viewer, and into ZC. I fixed them up in ZC so they can be used without anything but a palette rip from you.

There are three images. One of the mountains, and two of the field/ sky. There are two for the field because one includes all of the tiles, and one shows what it will look like on a screen (11x16 tiles). They are all [View Full Description]
"Teleport" Beams by Anthus
Updated: 15 Aug 2005 Posted: 15 Aug 2005 Tags: 16-color, Decoration, and 2 more Rating[?]: Rating: 4.71/5 (13 ratings) Information:
I was going through the tile database when I relized that their were no awesone beams or anything... So, I made my own, and stuff... I decided to submit these since there aren't any allready...

These beams have multiple perposes...

The can be used to teleport you in and out of caves, or to other worlds?

These require 2 seperate layers (use 5, and 6)... The layer with the beam should be tranparent, and the layer with the seperate sparklies should be opaque...
