Description
Unsatisfied with the small amount of Classic-style dungeon templates, I took it upon myself to design some new ones.

These are some "jungle treetops" that go on a layer overtop the regular dungeon walls. The sprites themselves are ripped from the trees in the first level of Contra, recoloured to use Level 3's pallete (but you can use them in any obviously). I also edited some edges to make them blend in a little more--included is a template of how they're supposed to be laid out, with all of the individual tiles I designed by hand in the middle so you can rip them individually and recreate the border. Also included is a ZQuest screenshot of what it looks like when it's finished. You can just make one screen of your map with the trees, and then use that as a layer on top of all the other screens of the dungeon.

If there's one thing I don't like about it, it's how they're just kind of randomly trees on top of walls--maybe it's overgrown vegetation, or maybe you can make some tree trunks on the walls. Either way, it's a great way for Classic tileset users to get a little more mileage out of the original walls. I made these for my own personal use, but I'm not sure if my quest will ever be finished or released, so I figure I might as well get them out while I can.

This is my first submission ever after years of being on and off in the community, so be gentle.
Credits
Contra/Konami for the original jungle tiles.
Onslaught Six (me) for editing them.

You don't have to credit me if you use these; I don't care about that. But if you do, go ahead and leave a link to OnslaughtSix.com, where you can find all my music.
