Well, I finally got time to check out this demo and... it's not amusing.

Let me point out the pros of this demo nonetheless. The things that did surprise me was the introduction of the demo, I can see you can pull off an amazing story with the right approach and guidance if you wish. I can see you got inspired by LttP as well. That's one. Another thing is how you actually tend to use the Sword Reflect combos. Using them in creative ways boosts up points in your gameplay section of the quest. And the use of animated cutscenes are good as well (especially when the floor floods and you face the boss! :) )

Now for the cons. Cons are you're not using EZGBZ to its full potential. Even lack of variety of palettes affect Screen Design. Speaking of screen design, they are bland and follow a simple setup rather than having diversity around them. Example, straight mts. Instead of that, try to make curves and angles flow from them. Another thing I wasn't fond of were the Layered Roofs of the houses. You should add some solid combos down there, because it's rather strange how you used them.

Another thing, dungeon design. Monster Hideout wasn't that fun honestly speaking. Some advice I can give you is to make the dungeon "feel" open. By this I mean add adjacent rooms, "shape" your dungeon, and add enemies, variety of traps and puzzles. Trust me, this is what makes it feel like a Zelda Game! :D Secrets!

Don't let my review disappoint you. You got the bases needed to create an awesome quest! instead, see this as constructive advice :)
