Solace Artema, while very much a heavy WIP quest at this point and not having too much to show for it yet, is planned out to be a grand adventure where the player takes control of a young woman named Sona, a seemingly average person that later finds out of a destiny she must fulfill, else the demonic Akayim, self-titled the "Defiler of Realms" will corrupt and plague the very land Sona lives on. To do so, Sona must prove of the lineage she bears and purge what corruption Akayim has already infested the land of Artella with.

While the game does have a large emphasis on story and plot development, it will also have many senses of adventure, exploration, and dungeon-crawling. And while Zelda-esque elements will be used, this quest has no relations at all with the Zelda franchise in terms of story or characters. Therefore, no Link, Zelda, Ganon, Triforce, etc. The story elements of the game follow the classic "Light vs. Darkness" trope, but not necessarily in the traditional, stereotypical way, with many twists and turns along the way.

As for the dungeons and fields of this game, it resembles a mix of that of Majora's Mask and Phantom Hourglass. Namely, there is a central town with a field surrounding it, said field going to four separate areas where the game's 4 main dungeons will be located. In the central town lies one more dungeon, akin to that of the Temple of the Ocean King, where the player will have to return there and progress further down once certain requirements are met. Though it will not be as much of a hassle to get through as the dungeon it plays off from, since once the player makes it down to certain points, they will be able to warp there form the entrance to continue down next time if they so wish.

Combining a wonderful story, great gameplay, dungeons, items, and exploration, I hope to bring this game to fruition in the near future. If possible and with time allowed, I will have assistance from qualified scripters such as Evan20k, Russ, Moosh, and SpacemanDan to help out with things that would otherwise be impossible to do in the standard ZC engine. I ammaking this quest as also a learning experience for myself, not only in screen design, but possibly to enrich myself in the ways of scripting too.

Progress of this quest will be posted whenever time allows.
