At first, I had a few minor grievances with this tileset, mostly with the doorways being streaky and on the ugly side and solidity errors with the item cellars and passageways of dungeons (not to mention passageways are prone to the infamous Magical Staircase bug). However, after a bit of tile modification, I fell in love with this tileset. It looks really nice and I love the custom SFX that come with it. I'm not sure what system they're from, but I love them. I would highly recommend this tileset.

First of all, I love tilesets that play with the Classic set idea. I love a lot of the works that came out of the community over the years, but I still have a great fondness for the Classic quests and graphics.
Having posted this review many months after release, I feel many here have already made astute points, particularly Shane.
The custom work is most commendable, as it is a significant commitment to get done looking right. The fact that you then made improvements to it after several people suggested changes is also impressive, a sit shows you are willing to maintain it and make it that much better.
As with other classic sets, there are some nice custom tiles here, with matching and sensible combos and sprites as appropriate.
My biggest grievance is that some of the palettes are a little clashy for my tastes, which is a subjective analysis, and it is one perhaps influenced by the Classic set theme (which tends to accentuate the palette colors).
All in all, a notable effort, and I look forward to tinkering with it in more depth, please keep up the work, sir.
