Well, I must say that was funny! I had trouble beating the boss; took me 15 lives (with a couple "Retry"-s at the final boss) to beat this quest.

Very confusing, but familiarity with Zelda Classic beforehand helped when figuring out what things are. It took me until level "KNUT" to realize that the Dkarnut tiles for locked and boss-locked doors had specially-marked shields to indicate they were locked doors!

The final boss requires more Gradius-type skills. I finally beat him only by holding down the A button to fire continuously (before the "mash the A button" part, of course).

To quote the pawn broker from the Flight of Dragons movie: "It's fun! What can I say?"

A Triumph!

Bravo!

I am amazed at how well this ridiculous idea ended up working. And the fact that it worked seems like proof of something, but I just can't articulate what. It was tough to figure out what item/enemy/landscape tile was what, which was at times frustrating, other times fun. But I feel like a good game should have some of both, and this one does. It also has moments of hilarity and genius.

A short quest, I beat it in two days and 24 lives. My only minor complaint is that I kept running out of bombs when I needed them.

It's funny, that's for sure. The dungeon design's alright, but gets a bit repetitive by the end. It's also really hard to figure out what's going on occasionally, but that's part of the fun.The difficulty is a bit mean in level 3, but most of the game's problems are made up for by the amazing plot twist and final boss. All in all, it's pretty fun, not 5/5 good or anything, but it's a fun time killer if you want a laugh.

I approve of the idea and the execution for the most part. It encourages exploration and risk, but not too unfairly so. The only problem I really had is that the third dungeon was... well, uninspired, since the entire thing (including the boss) was pretty much a boss gauntlet. That, and the quest was fairly short, and I felt like maybe there could have been one or two more jokes in there. Otherwise, fun quest, worth playing, and something that could probably be expanded on. Not by much, it's admittedly a limited idea, but with the right care, it could have definitely taken it up at least another level.

Fun joke quest, though after a while you get used to the "Darknut darknut!" jokes and it becomes a lot more traditional. It's also hard at times to figure out what is what, though I suppose that's the intention.

This quest deserves nothing lower then a 5. Coming up with clever plots and ideas to base a quest around is a huge part in creating quests. Therefore this quest is more then just a spoof, and you put time into it. Hilarious stuff. Clever! oh and.. KAABOOM!
