Hell of a game here Skate! Finished Level 9 a few mins ago....LOOOOONNNGGGG final level but epic music to keep me busy while I was wasting Ganon's minions. xD

Anyways....great dungeons, huge fun overworlds and solid puzzles. A big 5 for you!

It's been a few years since I played through this quest and I never left a rating. Well, I recently opened it up again and it all came back to me. This is an excellent quest that sets the bar for how to create a classic quest; the difficulty curve is not too high, there are lots of secrets and stuff. Dungeon design is a little predictable early on (key hunting ahoy!) but not worth docking the quest for really. I just wish the link to the tracker files was still available.

I finally got around to playing this and I am very happy that I did! This is a top notch effort with appealing graphics and fun play. Those alone make this a 5 star production. The challenge matches your weaponry upgrades for the most part. That combination of fighting challenge and exploration/discovery is consistent throughout. This is an outstanding effort!

This is one of my all time favorite quests. I love the mix of old and new, but even more, I'm amazed that this came from the same person who made Quest Through Time. This quest inspired me. Thank you Bloodstar for making something so awesome! Thank you beta testers for refining something awesome!:thumbsup:

Pro:
+good classic style quest, 3 great designed bonuslevels with some catchy and challenging, but never unfair fights there
+very good midi sound and extra tracker sounds
+hack & slash action quest
Contra:
-Some mixture of tilesets and some graphics
-some endbosses too easy cheesy
-wind wizzrobes in lvl 9-2 so you start over in lvl 9-1 ;-( wasnt fun
-missed some more puzzles (ok its more a hack and slash)

But good job anyway, i look forward to a future quest!

Thoroughly enjoyable, and challenging! It kept my interest and posed several puzzles for me, and the overworld didn't bother me much with its old classic look. Since I spent most of my time inside a dungeon, the overworld wasn't for much more than a passage. Good job!

It's a very fun classic-styled quest with well-designed dungeons, plenty of challenge and a ton of content. One gripe is that I thought a few things were too well- hidden and almost had to be either stumbled upon by luck or looked up. Specifically I'm thinking of a couple dungeons, one of which everyone should get to experience as it's one of the most fun, intense dungeons I've played. I also could not imagine how hard L9 would have been had I not done the aforementioned dungeon. Getting hit by a windrobe in 9-2 and going back to the beginning of 9-1 also made me swear. Loudly.

A great quest that was definitely worth playing. It was more of a hack and slash game than a challenging puzzle one. The overworld and dungeons were well designed and bug-free. Looking forward to another.
