Having a lot of trouble progressing, cryptic stuff should be optional, so you're not always wondering how to simply proceed

The guy running the snake house game should really heal your health via string control code when he says try again next time

Two dungeons down, feeling very trolled at the moment. Half good fun, half frustration is my experience thus far.

Hey there, great game.

I like the karma system, but it is slightly annoying, that you can miss some content. Also, is there a reason, that the eyes turn red, if I heal myself with the fairy well? Furthermore, if you choose to use the flippers to get into sanskrit temple, you have to restart, cause you have used your only key...

I fear I play in 1.5.1, is that an earnest problem? I am actually stuck in Dust Temple, most likely the Mask will be next. There is a door for my key I cannot reach and there is a screen with a talkplate and an inactive device.

BTW, I am no questmaker (no talent for it at all...) but I looked through this site enough to know who moosh is, but in a quest with this much importance to hints, aren't his footprints a danger to be misunderstood as a important hint?

Just a bit curious, but how is the quest's name supposed to be pronounced?

I had no idea you were a quest maker Teamudf, and I'm pleasantly surprised :D
This is an interesting quest. I'll be reviewing this when I finished it. So far, I love the story and the puzzling dungeons.

I've been anticipating this for quite some time: I will likely be dedicating some good amount of time to it over the next few months, and will submit my feedback, when I complete it, at least once.

P.S. I wouldn't call this a prequel, as that implies that another already-released form of media, is ahead of it in the timeline. As this is the first game that you released, and the first in the timeline, then Lost Lineage (and possible Silent Fade) would be the sequel(s), to Eiyuu when you do release it. :P

I know that you started the others first, but as this is the first released, it cant technically be a prequel. I write novels starting in the middle of timelines, with planned future era books, and planned earlier era books, but I try to avoid using any kind of label to define that. I'd rather let the reader find out, by reading. (That also limits my commitment to future works.)

I've been working on Destiny of the Saerosian Empire for some time (five years, IIRC), and while I have Origin, Rise, Wars, and Legacy planned, and partially complete (in various stages), i donlt consider Destiny to be a sequel to them, given their unfinished nature.

The chronology is Origin, Rise, Wars, Legacy, and then Destiny of the Saerosian Empire; with planned cross-thread books (such as Saeros: Emperor of Mankind, and the Zorian Mythos series, detailing the origin, of the Zorian Empire, the creation of the Sernarani by Gil-Daris, and the power struggle between Vardus Meridus, leading to the Wars of Dragonblood). The original titles were 'X of The Sorcerer Kings', but I decided that might be at odds with some TSR products (Dragonlance, IIRC), so I'm nut sure if I;d use that, despite it being more ominous.

It's a rather large plan, that I hope to live long enough to complete. It's literaly enough to keep me busy for the next thirty years, so perhaps if I live to see my second life (age 83), I may have the full chronology, and a complete Zoraec and Saerosian dictionary in print, to go alongside my RPG products.

I'm also a but surprised that you didn't make the title in Hiragana, with a Romanisation under it (and a translation, in subtitles, for the ignorant), on the trail. A Hiragana to Roman letters flip transition would be neat, for an effect on a future trail, IMO, but the videos were otherwise, excellent.

P.P.S. I always used the mouse, to go to the menus, to select the load option, and then select the quest. I think that I forgot about pressing 'A' to do that, not that it matters which method anyone uses to load a .qst file.

Me being a total noob at actually PLAYING ZC games makes me get wrecked constantly by most of the common enemies, but I don't really care. This game is very fun and quite unique. When I beat the game, I'll add a review and upload the LP. You'll get to see my death counter. :-)

It's ridiculously high because controllers are mean to me. :P
