Hey everyone, Prince here.
So...2016 has been a very rough and tumble of a year for many reasons, some well-known, others personal. But the one thing that always stuck out like a sore thumb to me was that I didn't work as much on this dream project of mine as I had hoped to have wanted to. Between IRL problems and (mostly) procrastination, Solace Atrema seemed to always take a backseat to everything else.
That, however, is about to change. 2017 is definitely looking better for this quest of mine, and I intend to work on it harder than ever. My original plan was to at least get a playable demo out before 2016 was over, and with only two days (as of this writing) left in the year, that isn't going to happen anytime soon. That said, a playable demo will still be in the works, and I want to get it out as soon as I can so everyone can see a glimpse of what I am working on, as well as of course making more areas for later portions of the game and having things work around later items and such. Enemy modifications and sprites will also be found and tweaked with so that they will provide a formidable and unique challenge!
So in closing, I want to thank anyone who is following this quest project for being patient with me in making this. Life's stupid sometimes, but you gotta keep your passion going. But I won't leave you empty-handed! Have another music feature, this one being the music for the final area of the game (note I said "area", not "dungeon"!). Enjoy and have a safe and happy 2017!
