Bar soap. Liquid soap just makes me get confused and think I grabbed the shampoo by mistake and now I have to start all over. I take showers when I wake up and am still kinda groggy and unsure of what's going on, and confusion at this critical stage is not good. Not to mention, I just like bar soap better. I like having something physical I can hold onto.

Edit: Wow, I had no idea I was part of such a small minority.

I did that once. I put body wash in my hair for a week before I caught on.

Body wash, I check to make sure I'm using the right thing. Physical soap is too much of a slippery thing. :P

Definitely Old Spice Body Wash.  Also, how do you mistakenly put the wrong substance in your hair?  I mean...you don't read the bottle when you pick it up to make sure it's what you want o.o?  We're housing like 5 different bottles of bodywash/shampoo on the edge of the tub here, so checking them is absolutely necessary.

I had to learn the importance of this the hard way. The body wash and shampoo were the same brand (I buy the dollar bottles from Walgreens) so, in my cleansing negligence, I desecrated the sanctity of the body wash being applied solely to the body.

The body wash I buy is typically not the same brand as the shampoo and conditioner.  Also, I keep them at opposite corners of the tub.  So despite my horrible nearsightedness and occasional grogginess in the morning, I still don't confuse the two.  That sort of thing should work as long as you don't share the shower with people who have a tendency to not put things back where they were before.

I use Gillette body wash and since I keep my hair buzzed to 1/4 inch I use it to wash my hair and beard too (my beard being much longer than the hair on my head). I use the hydrating one although I do not have dry sensitive skin.

Needless to say taking a shower is a simple procedure for me.

Bar soap.  Body wash makes me feel weird.

Soap is fine and dandy, until of course you have a relative or friend stay at your place for a few days, and than mysteriously you start finding hair on your soap.

And even if there is no hair, can you imagine putting something on your face that's been on your grandfather's.... ummm.

Because I have a personal preference for soap (Irish Spring!) I tend to use soap the most, but I always keep a bottle of body wash on the side as back up, just in case.

Well, you're supposed to use a wash cloth to apply the soap to, and then wash with the cloth. Of course, with guests you never know ...

I use bar soap because that's the way I've always done it and see no need to change now.

SOAP :tard:

Because body wash washes off too fast from your body. If I squirt body wash onto the shower floor, the chances of me slipping on body wash I accidentally squirted onto the shower floor dramatically increase from zero to something. I just don't like those odds.

It's a very dangerous situation.

But hmm... Usually Liquid soap at home, but sometimes when we're on the road working, the motels we stay in only have bar soap.

I'm a recent body wash convert. I use Old Spice (either After Hours, Matterhorn, or Foxcrest) for my body and hair. Shampoo just seems to strip too much out of my hair.
