I was experimenting with some downloaded sound FX and added many of them to my .qst file. When I reloaded Zelda Classic to playtest, all of my MIDIs have gone silent. The sound FX work but no MIDI. I even can't hear them in ZQUEST. Wth? :worried: Please tell me this is an easy fix! I am using 2.50 but began the file in 2.10 if that makes a difference.

By chance are you using Windows XP?, if so you might try opening the sound manager and turn the SW Synth up, that should do something.

Yes windows XP hates midi's for what ever reason.
At 1 point I had to get a driver to make midi's work again.

That was it! Thanks! I was worried my file was corrupted or something. I am almost finished, that would have been a real bummer.

I think there will be a tiny box at the bottom right of the screen that has some tiny icons, One of them might be a little audio speaker, If it is not down their click the little arrow and it should be their. Double click the little audio thing and the master volume should pop up.
