Does it apply to Dungeon styled doors?

Like for example, if I use a key to unlock a door, and I have an alternate dimension (I don't really, but it's the easiest way to explain what I'm saying). Would the door reseal itself in the alternate dimension?

I have something done mildly similar, but it seemed to me that the doors re-seal themselves.

I think door states should carry over by default, unless checked in "No carryover" in Screen Data. You might want to try setting the door states in "No reset" and see if that works.

Remember screen state carryovers do NOT work in NES rooms.

Thanks Jamian, I forgot about that actually, but now that's weird why Door Up, Door Down, Door Left, and Door Right would be included in the No reset section when those door types doesn't even work in interior class rooms or dmaps.

Perhaps that option is one of those unusable leftovers included with the new features provided, much like half of the available options we have in enemy editor that we cannot use or implement.

Some things still work in Screen State Carryovers with NES Dungeon rooms. Boss Lock Blocks and Key Lock Blocks do work I know. I guess you'd have to try them out to see. It doesn't seem Door states work however.

You could fake a locked door this way to get it to work.

That seems to be the best choice. I am actually starting to warm up to using interior screens and interior screen doors, and I think if I want my quest to be as good as I am hyping it up to be, there is no excuse for me to not have interior instead of dungeon.

But since I began using dungeon dmaps, I plan on keeping it that way, but changing screens to interior screen by screen where it is necessary.
