Hello,
Okay, so ... Where to start?
I am new to the forums and all, and I could not find a specific place to put this topic, so if it is in the wrong spot, please move it! EDIT: It has been moved.
Anyway, I am working on my first quest (what request author isn't?!), and I need quite a few loose tiles, mostly NPC's. I need them for a cut-scene. I need them to be in the style of: http://www.purezc.ne...=tilesets&id=82
List of Loose-Tiles:
*I need a dead Zelda (Perfect way to start a list!) as well as a living Zelda, with animations for moving south.
*I would like some people that look like guards or soldiers, with animations for N/E/S/W, and an attack animation. (Variations in armor design or weapon choice, is appreciated but not required.)
*I would like some fires (EDIT: Forgot to say, I need burning houses...), and broken statues. Basically to make it look like an attack.
*Lastly, I would like villagers (Children, Old People, Adults, etc) that also have animations for N/E/S/W.
*Almost forgot, I need a king with a throne, that moves south (The king not the throne).
Yes, this is probably too ambitious for a first quest, but that's my problem, right?
Now, if this seems far too vague, let me know and I can give much more detail. The reason for the vagueness, is simply for the fact that (Believe it or not!) I am not a very demanding person. My brain simply cannot fathom how one can make art from lines/pixels/what have you. (Not much promise for my quest, huh?!)
I'm not sure if it's worth any consideration, but if describing the cutscene(s) would make it easier to know what sprites I need, I could do that. (I don't think I'm good at describing things.) Again, if more details are needed than feel free to ask, but I mostly just need the animations above, in the style of the tile set I linked to. It was newb friendly (pre-installed scripts!).
Thank you to anyone who helps me! It will be greatly appreciated, and, of course, you'll be mentioned in the credits (Probably the only person, too!).
This post seems unnecessarily long ... Anyway, I figured I could turn this thread into a demo/preview/screenshot thingy, of my quest. But first, I need to learn how to put screenshots up ... ...
