I wonder if someone here is up to the challenge of making one?  I wanted to include the little invincibility clock in my Zelda Engine, and wanted to have music to go with it.  Unfortunately, there's no fucking MIDI for this, as short as it is =C.

Oh god. If you're going to put the most broken item ever in your engine, can you at least not have the most annoying song ever play while it's in effect?

Also why do you need MIDI? Can't GameMaker handle other kinds of music?

It's only temporary, it's not going to last the whole time. Think about the Starman on Mario.  Lasts for like 10 seconds, then it's over.  That's what would happen with the clock.  As for the reasoning behind the MIDI, it's because I have a setup where the files loaded in by default are MIDIs, and the game checks for external Mp3's to load in upon game startup from the Music Folder.  If I don't have a midi, all that's there is the MP3, and that ramps up the file size unnecessarily.  Plus, if I have a MIDI, I can pass it through soundfonts to get a different, higher quality sounding version.

Can't you just use the star power theme?

Will this work?  I had trouble interpreting what the instruments were so I sort of went with whatever. If it needs tweaking, just let me know.

It's awesome,  thanks a lot!  If you're up to it, you should submit to VG music...there's literally one of it's kind =C.

After I get things situated and coded, I will record a video to show what this went towards.  Your efforts are not in vain =).  They might be in the video, since there's no enemies to use this clock on quite yet, but I'd rather get it done now XD.  You'd, at least, get to see the music change in real time.
