I recently got a hold of a program that allows me to use my younger sister's PSP as a computer gamepad. However, it doesn't allow you to set what the buttons do, so I figured I'd download Joy2Key and set it up that way.
Unfortunately, a quick Google search got me two similar-looking programs. One is called "Joy2Key", and it's run off SourceForge. The other one is called "JoyToKey", has its own website, and claims to be shareware, with "advanced features" off-limits unless you pay them $7.00.
I'm pretty certain that one of these is the correct program I want to download, while the other one would most likely be some kind of scam or virus of some sort. Does anybody here use the program, and could they please tell me which one is the one I want to download?

I use Joy2Key, and it works fine. In general, it's better to try the free program before paying money for the premium one, since more expensive =/= better.

Thanks. I figured JoyToKey, because the name was so similar, might have been just a scam to try and get money for something free. Like how you can find ROM hacks on pirated carts on EBay.

I use JoyToKey. Works great. Haven't had a problem with it.

I think they're the same program. Even the JoyToKey website lists a download for Joy2Key. In any case, I use it to help with tool-assisted speed runs. It works great, though there are a few minor annoyances here and there.

Yeah, I've tried it out, and I noticed a slight delay between hitting the button and the character reacting. I haven't tried it out much yet, though, so I don't know if that's just the emulator or not. I should get around to trying it in ZC.
