[The Satellite]

Recently there seem to have been issues between a handful of members regarding a certain series, to the point where Party A feels like they've been personally insulted and spat upon because Party B dislikes some series that Party A enjoys. It matters not how it was worded, it matters not that Party B only insulted the medium, but Party A takes it as a personal insult and writes off Party B as "insensitive" or "tactless," and makes veiled insults at Party B, whether in their profiles or in posts.

This is part of the reason certain members had been recently banned, people. It also can be considered trolling, which is something our rules disallow. And this has been addressed case-by-case so many times it's not even funny; that I felt like I had to take it to an announcement quite frankly sickens me. Gentlemen, ladies, can we all relax and learn to accept that people have differing opinions and that they don't affect us as people whatsoever? You'd never make it in the real world if you had such a defensive attitude all the time. Every series has its haters, and the creators are aware of that. You think they care? No. Well maybe they care a little bit, but that won't stop them from continuing their series. That shouldn't stop any of you from continuing to enjoy it even if someone else hates it. I've never seen anyone get personally insulted for their tastes. I've only ever seen what people have liked get insulted. If I'm mistaken, then it's your duty as members to this instead of taking it into your own hands. We are the staff, we are fair and impartial. And we are here to help.
