Current standing (2012.11.27.):

Now: BBIV: Guardian Mother (cry some more)

Confirmed upcoming order:
Nothing. And I don't advise you to make quests, either. Don't tell I didn't warn you.

It's time to stop thinking only about my current projects and look into the future. This thread meddles with affairs that will have direct effect only in 2 years, but who knows, maybe there will be extra perks of me making this thread. So, let us whack into the tomato sauce.

1. Banjo-Spyrooie:
Since Spyro 2 is my favourite platformer, I always was playing with the thought of a Spyro quest. Falling in love with Banjo Kazooie/Tooie made me toying with ideas about making it a ZC quest, too. My hidden wish of Banjo-Spyrooie erupted in a form of a DS post. Since the first reaction was "I'd play that!", I registered it as one of my future projects. Hey, now even the database has tiles for it, thanks to a nice chaotic fella'!
As for the battle with Sigma story, Banjo loses Kazooie somewhere and finds Spyro, who was magically minimized. So he fits in Banjo's backpack now. I'd like Croc to be in, too. Preferably he is manipulated by some evil and does bad things while thinking that they are good. (Like stealing colour crystals from somewhere or such.) And who would be the boss? Dante would be one, for sure. "Don't leave out Gruntilda, or you will be booted to the Himalaja!" As for Spyro baddies, that sorceress girl must be in (and she must fall in love with Hunter, thus becoming good). I don't especially like any other Spyro baddies. As for other characters, Mr.Moneybags is a sure in, along with the Croc salesman guy. We need Bottles, the military brother of Bottles... have I missed any cool Banjo characters? We also need that little spy girl from Spyro 2/3.
As for mechanics, I don't know what should be the main thing, but I want crystal orbs to be in (hey, now I remember my Spyro submission has blue crystal while it should be green with two golden frames, my bad) and of course Jiggies, too. Dragon releasing would be cool, too. "Thank you for releasing me, but Grunty is in another overworld!" >_<

2. Ultima X: ZC
Ultima VII-2 and IX being my favourite games you could suspect or even demand/require me to make an Ultima quest or else you don't believe that I'm such an Ultima fan. Cheers, I already started an Ultima remake and its demo was even posted at an earlier Expo! Altough I deleted the project for low interest and it wasn't that good anyway. It also was for PTUX.
Now, I want to try again some other time, but I'm not sure I'd need to make an Ultima IX remake again... Rather I'd make my own interpretation of Ultima IX. Now, you should know that most of those whos made Ultima IX: Ascension, knew almost nothing about the earlier Ultima games, that's why Ultima IX is quite out of the line. So I could make an Ultima that fits in the Ultima timeline better. An Ultima IX, where it's forbidden to steal (like in previous Ultima games), where the old characters and cities present (ALONG with the original Ultima IX characters and cities, so I don't try to emulate any of the pathetic fan patches).
Of course, I can make an Ultima/Zelda mix or such, the only sure thing is that there are already tiles for it in the database, thanks to a nice chaotic fella'.

3. War, 8 Powers, Tyrant...
Thievery. Religion. Wizardry. Strength. Construction. Nature. Civilization. Virtue. These 8 Powers battle it out with the guidance of the astounding, immortal, inhuman Tyrant in my book idea. This is a story that I really would tell once. As a book and/or ZC quest or anything. I have the background stories, the mechanics... I'm still not sure about gameplay... should it be linear or not? Linearity is more serious than a Megaman-ish "beat the 8 Powers in any order" thing. The main character is a girl and "accidentally" finds the only weapon that still has some chance to beat the crazy Tyrant.

4. Shadow Wars II:
You all can view Shadow Wars, my first submitted quest, in the database. It's theoretically Zelda and Star Wars together, but the SW feeling is very low, it's rather explained than shown. I tried to make a sequel many times. Not with futuristic machines, only the feeling should be SW. Emperor, Rebels... and such. Now I don't have too much motivation for this quest, but hey, maybe I make a mini Shadow Wars II once.

5. Inverted Requiem:
I should have started with this, but I don't want to give away much of it. Since this will be the sequel of Seasoned Blood. I can tell already that the main character is Coral and the quest is about the 8 Powers. There will be much similarities to "3. War, 8 Powers, Tyrant...", except that Inverted Requiem is still with Zelda and such VG characters instead of being completely original, neverseen. Coral isn't hero, and she is just adventuring around a little in Seasoned Blood, but she will have serious things to do in Inverted Requiem. Even though she STILL won't be heroic and won't like saving stuff... maybe she won't even do?

I feel like forgot something. Oh well, this is still 5 projects, I can be happy if I empty this changelog in 6-7 years... Especially that I will need to make a "M&B Update Extreme" and I'd like to make an Ultima based tileset, too. If I do it, I take M&B as base. And I put all Ultima items in.

That would truly be Awsome A Spyro Quest. I love the Spyro games.
And the Banjo Kazooie games are good to.
I love the idea of you wanting to put the two game together.

Good, let's rate this stuff...

1.
Good combination. So you kick Kazooie out? Nice, she is quite irritating. but Banjo is lump. I don't really like both characters but I do love the game. Spyro is nice too, only somewhat childish to me. Hunter is a cool character. I had Spyro on the gamecube. You had ranging(bow+arrow) mini-games with him there.

2.
Sounds good, but you can better base your quest on Ultima, not name after it. Since Ultima doesn't seem like a real story too, rather a bunch of same categorized games, like Age of Empires or Empire Earth.

3.
It's better expressed as book I think. ZC would make things less easy and prevents you from making a well detailed story.

4.
Sure, why not? Be sure to included epicness here.

5.
Logical wise, since BB isn't just a random story, it needs it's own trilogy. Good.

And I add:
6. Nargad's Trail: Unnamed:
CastChaos and I decided to make Nargad's Trail a series of quests, so we probably will make another collaboration quest. Many secret projects about Nargad's Trail are in the making, a quest and a flash... This provides many story to build another quest on.

Well, I don't kick Kazooie entirely from the quest, it's just that I need to put Banjo and Spyro together, or else I'd need some Link tile modifiers which would immediately shut 2.10 out from choice plus it can get messy and restricting... The only thing is that Kazooie usually needs to be far from Banjo, since travelling with him would mean that Spyro can't be in the backpack and I need to do that messy character changing... I like Kazooie.

No, no, Ultima is a real story, not same kind of stories like Final Fantasy... 90% of the Ultima games are like the same game divided to about 11 parts (Ultima VII is in fact divided to 2 parts). There are about 4 spinoffs, but I wouldn't meddle with them anyway. Ultima 0, 1, 2... ... 7-1, 7-2, 8, 9, Underworld and Underworld 2 are really like one game that was separated to 13 parts for being too long..

Yes, but there's more than what is visible. Just because I announced 3 BB universe quests (BB, SB, IR) it doesn't mean I plan only this much. A saga is always better than a trilogy. The only thing that prevents me from manufacturing BB universe quests on conveyor belt is the idea of making the Banjo-Spyrooie, Ultima ZC, etc. quests. Seems like people like this Banjo-Spyrooie idea enough for me to make it right after Inverted Requiem.

That's a lot of ideas and future plans. They sounds pretty good, too. But it sure sounds like a lot, though. You're certainly aiming high, but I wish you luck of pulling them off when you get around to them. I'm sure they'll be good. icon_biggrin.gif

I've actually got some plans for far-off projects as well, too.

Yes, I keep getting assured that Banjo-Spyrooie needs to be one of the next projects I start. I already did as much planning to decide I will draw the REAL orbs from Spyro 2.

However, there's bad news for those whos in fact want me to finish the Bloodline series as fast as possible and finally make an entirely new game (Banjo-Spyrooie, Banjo-Spyrooie!!).
Ballad of a Bloodline => Seasoned Blood => Inverted Requiem => Bleeding's Ends
Yes, I installed the plan of a fourth Bloodline quest. This is exactly the opposite of what a quick reader would think. It's not like I struggled to make up a fourth /B/ quest to be cool or to delay making other type of quests. It's rather that I realized that my current plans and most of the possible endings of Inverted Requiem are yelling for a fourth game. It WOULD be possible to have just three of them, I guess, but each time I run through the events of ALL THREE quests, I suddenly imagine a fourth to the end. Bleeding's Ends... A direct try to actually end the story, which grows into a saga with this fourth quest. Hence why the name. Actually, the REAL practical reason of this title doesn't neccessarily demand the quest to be the end of the saga....... It's just an attempt.
I was also thinking of the title "End of the Bleed(ing)", but I just love the "###'s Ends" formula. "End" is also very good, but "Ends" is an "I like it better" thing. I saw this formula in RuneScape first, as the title of a quest (Mounring's Ends I&II) and recently seeing another quest with such title (Summer's End I&II) started things in me. Admittedly, without RS, it's low chance that I would come up with this name, especially that I had simple titles like "Arrival" or "Reclamation" as working titles.

The whole Bloodline saga is about showing how a simple coincidence resulted in events that revealed the dark background of Hyrule and shows how this revelation actually throws a wrench in all previously existing progresses, including the Zelda timeline. No real heros, no ideologies forced on the player (Or the "Eight Powers" is an ideology?), just actual happenings that are out of the control of both good and evil.
What was the aforementioned coincidence? I hope it gets obvious while playing BB, else I need to explain it in SB better.

I was thinking about Bleeding's Ends... After Inverted Requiem, I thought I end the series with a final episode, because altough I wouldn't want to end it here, I should work on different projects, too... But as I said, I don't want to end it... So, what about making Bleeding's Ends not end the series, and also getting a new name accordingly? Coincidentally, just before I started to plan BB, I started to plan a certain quest about a boy who lived in an isolated island with her mother, but later goes away to be hero and gets rid Hyrule of an evil who was thought to be good before. The title was Guardian of Hyrule. (Being completely unrelated to the Guardian in the Ultima series.) Some things from that quest idea fits into the Bloodline Saga so well. So, the 4th Bloodline quest could be Bloodline IV: Guardian Mask. Which would be as open ended as BB was and SB/IR will be.
BUT and here's the great BUT, I would still continue with other projects (starting with Banjo-Spyrooie). The only disadvantage could be that this way you will be left off at Guardian Mask's end, knowing that the series wasn't ended, but not seeing a sequel for very long.
In fact, my complete sweet desire would be to make the Bloodline Saga official... Anybody fancy the 5th Bloodline Saga quest on Wii? The only problem with that is that BB still contains many things from other games, a complete overhaul would be needed by taking out Zelda, FF, Ultima, etc. references and ripoffs and put original things at their place. Unless I pull a Kingdom Hearts with the approval of Nintendo, Sony, Konami, etc. and release this Chimera game.

Other concern is the Ultima remake, also mentioned in the first post. Playing the older Ultima games made me want to remake them on ZC, too. In fact, my desire for remaking is the first when crossing ZC time with playing official games, but since I don't have time for remakes, I simply rip off the said games. ALttP first, then MM/X and now Ultima...
But I see a way to make my Ultima remakes anyway! Through quest contests! Now I absolutely don't have time to participate in them, but later when I have, I could make a Legend of Ultima quest, tha would get the inspiration from Ultima, then much later Legends of Ultima II, taking inspiration from Ultima II, etc...

NEW SPRI... ahem, so... I have changed and new ideas.

Shadow Wars III- Rise of the Underworld:
I already made the file and started to make the first screen, but I won't spend much time with this quest besides SB and Banjo-Spyrooie. Not like it required much time, I plan very Classic, truely old, NES-ish design. But the event mechanics can get modern, maybe there will be many one timed events, overworld changes and such.
The main character is Rebecca, secret daughter of Darth Hater (Link). She starts without any support and need to fight herself to the Imperial HQ to kill the Emperor and Darth Hater, ending the communist dictature. The whole feeling is against control and ruling, so I try to come up with some rule-type dungeon names, first being Logitech, probably. I might be too negative and hating again, but seeing how most people relate to rules and dogmas here, they will play only to purposedly kill Rebecca.
I also don't plan to stop with this series. It's also at the end of my timeline, so Shadow Wars takes place after everything else I made, on the same planet where BB took place.

Reality Ensues:
A light, easy to make quest: one where there are no restrictions. Really, I will miss out all cartoony clichés, stereotypes and taboos. This is just a possibility. There might be much swearing, might be none. It might offend some groups, might not. Almost like a toned down South Park. Probably with GB set.

Ultima - The First Age of Darkness:
I decided I make story type remakes of Ultima games, not minimalist copies. Some epic scenes in Ultima deserve animated events. I mean those scenes that aren't or just barely explained in the original Ultima 1. Like how Lord British enters Britannia and how he summons the Traveller.

Guardian of Hyrule:
As I said, eventually not using my original "Link&Niera's daughter, Myra" idea lowered my interest at SB. My interest was fixed when I made up the idea of this quest where Carfax and Iris never married, but Link&Niera are here and they have a daughter, Myra. Myra grows very stron and smart, actually too strong and smart for a little girl, which quite bugs the government, exactly in the way as the Shinra was interested in Aeris in Final Fantasy VII. Meanwhile a huge titan appears who suddenly wants to be the "guardian of Hyrule" and so he moves in the democratic monarchy's castle and when some problem happens, he acts. The monarch and the government doesn't trust this suddenly appeared entity and they trick Myra into an adventure that is supposed to reveal who is this... Guardian. Heavily story type quest, more houses and caves than dungeons. Combinatory Powers included. Only those combinatory Powers that I sure got right. Anarchy, Lunatism and Factor, for example (these are my favourites).

I also must explain some mechanics... there are 3 type of quests for me.
Main project: I need exactly one of such. Some time ago it was BB, now it's SB.
Side project: when the main project goes cloggy, I need something else, so that I can make this sideproject when the main project is unavailable. Ideally there's only one active side project. Examples: M&B set, Banjo-Spyrooie, Guardian of Hyrule.
Free project: a project that I'm developing when I don't have mood for anything in the world or when I can't do any of my bigger projects. Examples: Shadow Wars II, Shadow Wars III, Reality Ensues.

Some more quest on the big pile, I see... Well, sound like good plans, but don't forget Nargad's Trail, mah boi. It's in your list too. Shadow Wars III quest sounds extreme good to me, I've always liked Star Wars. Reality Ensues... Well, it could be very experimental. You could make something like Mario's Insane Rampage. Ultima quest sounds good, especially when it ends up as a small quest, not mega sized. I really prefer small quests over big ones. When I/you/other want more of it, make more episodes. Guardian of Hyrule sounds too overdone for me... So much huge quests, I wouldn't be able to handle them.

I have many definite thoughts of my Future ZC, so it's time to use this thread again instead of mentioning far future projects in the SB thread as half-related notes.

So, as it seems, I will be making SB and only SB till it's finished. I might make some small Coral mini quests (like as I made Hyrule's Halloween and Hyrule's Christmas DX for BB), mostly to carry some story away from the planned to be too long already SB, but sure no SWIII or such till SB is finished, no.

What is after then?
I could have a break, or make small quests or start BBIII already, or stop ZC altogether...
Having a break: no good, I lose considerable practice even with a month of no intense questmaking, so imagine what would be after 6-12 months. I could start over with standard LoZ again, barely remembering how one can set undercombo.
Making small quests: likely, see below.
Starting BBIII already: as far as I know myself, this is pretty likely. See below.
Stop ZC: depends on circumstances.

Ballad of a Bloodline III:
Currently I feel almost as much excitement towards it as I feel towards the Ellivenia story. This also might be because the style of the story will be similar and it will be a true sequel of the Ellivenia story, since it will start right when that ends.
I will use a much more monumental style, something that I was going to develop in BB before I got carried away with Mega Man, Final Fantasy and Ultima additions.
There will be some areas, each of them centering around one of the Leisure Powers. They will have dungeons that resemble each of the Eight Powers, but in a way that the dungeons REALLY resemble the Eight Powers, as canon to the Ellivenia story like the Tyrant, itself created those dungeons.
It's not sure that I use DoR and even if I use that, it will be DoR1.0. I will change many of the detail tiles, be they from DoR, or ripped from M&B, DoR2.0, LttP, etc. This will mean entirely different looks.

Ballad of a Bloodline IV: Guardian Mask
The proper closing of the series. The antagonist side will be the Anti-Powers, while the Eight Powers will be portrayed as good (as opposed to BBIII).
I already have detailed plans about which SB area turns into what in GM. Finally I will create the complete post-apocaliptic world. I enjoy making the enemy be extremely overpowered, so that the player (or at least the main characters) feels completely desperate and see no way to win. EXACTLY like in Ultima IX where the Guardian can kill anybody with a snap of fingers from any distance.

Smaller quests:
I sometimes have ideas about extreme quests that could be great as experiments. Like a quest where I intentionally force zero discipline on myself and put in anything that I feel like in the moment. Or one that I try to make absolute perfect, but only make a small area (and that gets to be the whole quest), since even that small area is bound to take months to make "perfect". And likely fill the tilepages.

*Already announced projects:*

Link in Ellivenia:
Has priority over all others. I had many doubts about it, but I know now what to do. It will truly resemble Ellivenia, with even the peace fighters being in it and such. Still not being very big. One overworld and 9 dungeons is enough for now.

Shadow Wars III:
Has big priority. I almost threw this "3 tilesets" idea away, but concentrating on the fact that 33% (the LoZ part) is done (3 dungeons, 2 secret dungeons, 33% of a map) makes me feel much lighter. And maybe ripping all those LttP and GB tiles won't be that annoying.

Banjo-Spyrooie:
Has big priority, but is a big thing, not a small quest. And I don't really want any "big things" till all Bloodline games are out.

Ultima X: ZC
Has high priority. I feel light about this project, like it was just fun, no hard work.

Ellivenia Story:
I simply can't turn the book idea into ZC. "Ellivenia: Compensating Soul" is matter of book or TV series or cartoon series, or... C#. My life work.

Reality Ensues:
This will probably be that "no discipline" quest, if I ever make it (low priority), just with some other name. Since it won't really be "reality".

Ultima -The First Age of Darkness:
A good idea to have this great game in story type form, but I don't feel like it now. Maybe if I make it small. Later. Later. Later. Much later.

Guardian of Hyrule:
I started to plan it when I started to have zero mood for SB. Now that SB is fresh, new, and I have mood for it, GoH will probably be never even started. However, it's general story can make it into some other project... like, I might come back to the Bloodline series sometime later...

You immediately can think to yourself: will all these be finished? If I had all these projects at the same time with the same priority, then the answer would be a big O, preceeded by an orbital N, followed by some mean expression. But this way... why not? As long as I have at least a few people whos play what I make and I have at least a few time rented exclusively for ZC and I have places to upload the file, it all can go fine and dandy. SB, BBIII, BBIV, Link in Ellivenia, SWIII, Banjo-Spyrooie then Ultima X: ZC. Even if we add some collaborations with Twilight_Knight, this all is done in 10-12 years. After 12 years, I will be almost 36 years old. (Wow, I'm optimistic!). So, even if things slow down much, I still have time in my life for all of these.
Thinking about it very hard, I sure have the time for SB, but after that, I will graduate from Web-programmer course which probably will end the study period of my life, initiating search for job and then job. I heard programmers are working from early morning to late night on all days of the year. If it was the same with me, I wouldn't have time for ZC.
I know my original plan was attending another 3 years of computer education, but it seems like won't be necessary, for a set of complicated reasons. I also don't see reality behind a videogame maker job. Nowadays it requires an expensive country with hundreds of workers, not a small union of 2-10 people. I could aim to join the Hungarian Appaloosa (it made Ecco the Dolphin and many great things) but it's inactive for very long.

Also, when I know C# well enough, it will have so high priority at game making that only the Bloodline series will be able to compete with it.

I was also speaking about me always having a "main", a "side" and a "free" project. Forget about that, it was just me not being terms on ZC. I work on one project at a time. Dot. Splat. (+collaboration projects)

BBIII's style planning is constant as I'm making SB. This way it will have long planning period, just like BB had. The style will contain these so far:
-Dungeon combos revisited:
Pots that are hafly in one combo, halfly in another are already known from at least one tileset (BS, if I recall). Besides them, there will be titled blocks, size variations and height variations.
-Consistency:
Style clashes will be avoided and screens that belong to the same area will feel like belonging to the same area. Same for gameplay and plot.
-Canon customization:
Items and enemies will be as whole as in an official game. Items will be used for what they are meant for and enemies will appear where they aren't out of place.
-Widely usable mechanics:
Any main theme will affect everything that it is expected to, and everything will revolve around the quest's internal/own theme.
-Bossy bosses:
Bosses will be big, custom or ripped, not interrupted by strings, not personally relevant to story, be dynamically hurtable and longlasting.
-Music:
Music type will match area type and the average difference compared to average music (coefficient of variation) will be small.
-Full Power:
Consistency with the Eight Powers will be 100%, just like BBIII was a section the Ellivenia book.

If you are rather for chaos than Nintendo style, rejoice, because BBIV will be unlike BBIII. It will be BB on crack. It will also lack any forum cameos and main ideas given by any players.

A few words on Banjo-Spyrooie:
I went through Spyro 1-3, BK, BT, and chosen all my favourite areas/characters to insert into Banjo-Spyrooie, only to realize that this quest shouldn't be a chaotic mix of Banjo and Spyro. These games conserved some of the characters from their earlier episodes, but the main mechanics were usually different. Then I also realized I'm not making a sequel to one of them, Banjo-Spyrooie is rather a side quest, so I can have many things that were in Spyro and Banjo. I will rework the collectibles and completely change the main mechanics: Jiggywiggy already was in BT, he shouldn't play the biggest role in opening worlds in Banjo-Spyrooie.

No, it won't. Probably. Now you say it, I could make it so that it is very very hard, but has many continue points, so that people don't need to start over so many times.
The "unbeatable enemy" feeling isn't something that I planned to make the player die many times, it's rather for story. Because what kills players? For example enemies. But a boss' power isn't to be displayed with adding many enemies to the screen. Same with damage combos and kinda same with pit warps.
So, how can it look like the main boss was unbeatable? For example like in Ultima IX. In Ultima IX, you keep going through dungeons and keep collecting things, but only to generally lower the evilness rate of the land, not to beat the Guardian, since nobody knows a way for that. Additionally, the Guardian sometimes just kills people from far away without effort, and once he even summons the Avatar and demonstrates that he (the Guardian) can't be psychically damaged.
BBIV won't exactly be like that, because the main boss surely won't summon anybody to itself to demonstrate invincibility, but I will create that desperate feeling anyway.

I had many quests queued, not saying that I get to all of them eventually, because using Zelda Classic was the only game making method I knew, and because why not. Now I'm not into ZC that deeply, so the future plans are much smaller and cleaner.

BBIII: Cousin of Powers
I'm still keep working on this and I'm not "saving anything for the way back". It's about assorted Ellivenia adventures and the founding of Hyrule kingdom, and all of these are very well.

BBIV: Guardian Mask
If I make this, it have to be something different than SB or CoP. I'm getting tired of mixing my own style and Zelda. But each time I try something Zelda, I'm adding me to it, and each time I try me, the engine makes me add some Zelda. A complete thinking reboot will be required, either with complete Zelda-ness or with barely any Zelda. I was thinking about making another BB game before or after this that is part of this whole plot, but it probably won't happen. If there's life after BBIV, it will have a new series name.

Ultima IX
I won't make that Ultima X I planned, nor any of the U1-8 games will I ZCify. But while I was playing Ultima IX many months ago, I really wanted to make it in ZC, not as a 100% exact remake (for example, I couldn't even make it 3D, etc, etc). A leisure PTUX quest that has only Ultima IX elements in it, but doesn't have all, and all are configured for ZC, instead of trying to cramp a completely non-ZC game into ZC. I originally meant it as a soft break between... wait, soft break? That makes me recall Final Fantasy. Now, where I was... So, I meant this quest as a break between BBIII and BBIV, but I'm not making BBIII so fast and wild to need a break... so this quest isn't on the stack top now.

Ellivenia I
Now there's a smaller quest that I really could make. Ellivenia? I said this name many times, but what it is? Still just interface, still abstract, still uninstantiated. I could say that in Ellivenia, many creatures cast spells with deepened crystals. But this isn't that true, since there's actually no any book/movie/cartoon/game/etc. with a place called "Ellivenia" with any kind of "deepened crystals". Since it's just in my head, I can change all of this 1000 times per day, without further notice. Something solid is needed. Ellivenia should be instantiated.
CoP already has solid Ellivenia grounds, since more than half of CoP takes place in a place I call Ellivenia, and everything I place there (Pillow, Sunset Territory; Nameless, Tyrant; Construction, Civilization; etc.) are truly canon. So, now I at least can speak about Ellivenia without sounding lunatic.
CODE
FantasyArea Ellivenia = new FantasyArea(new CoP(new BB(ZC), ZC), ZC, personal)

OK, now Ellivenia is a FantasyArea instance with multiple contacts and many parameters to define it well. But it's still not a standalone class! Let's think hard. This whole Ellivenia thing absolutely wouldn't be going this heavily in me if really weren't there anything solid. But there was actually more than a year of role playing that I did with my brother and sister. Starting in Lemuria, with Ellivenia being a secondary thing, eventually moving on to feature Ellivenia only, making it more and more detailed and fleshed out, from a totally cartoony wonderland to a more evolved fantasy world. That's now something definite, but there are some problems. One is that it's still just words, it's only in my memory, no any solid media. Other is that it was absolutely not about what I was saying in these threads or what is in CoP... a much earlier age of Ellivenia. Wait! Earlier age? There weren't any ages instantiated and there's no any connection revealed between them, so we do have a class...
CODE

class Ellivenia : CastChaosFantasy
{
  Lemuria le;
  OmegaCrystal oc;
  Titans t;
  BlackCastle bc;
  GoldenLight gl;
  Dragons d;

  string type = "planet";
  int radius = 455;

  public Ellivenia (Lemuria le, OmegaCrystal oc, Titans t, BlackCastle bc, GoldenLight gl, Dragons d)
  {
    this.l = l; this.oc = oc; this.t = t; this.bc = bc; this.gl = gl; this.d = d;
  }

  public RolePlaying() {}
  public Book() {}
}

...but it's not the class we want. We want a solid-ish new Ellivenia or a completely solid any Ellivenia.
So, what about a quest about the early Ellivenia with a rarely used or completely new tileset and without forced Zelda elements? Something that doesn't hide anything, rather contains secrets AND their revelations? The ZC quest version of those role playings. Four session were there, first one covering Ellivenia only a bit, while the last lasting only for weeks or less. I'd love that so much that I almost decided to start it while making CoP.
So, we could start with "Ellivenia: Age of Crystal". Hookshot main weapon, Omega Crystal's getting as main goal, Black Castle as last level... It would be lovely. I do believe in it. *looks into the big red sun with determinated face expression*

So far I kept listing projects that I would eventually make... now I list projects that one single of them will be my next project. Which is, I can't know yet.

Quest: Ballad of a Bloodline IV: Guardian Mother (ZC2.5RC2)
The most expectable choice, especially for a long term main project. It should end the whole BB series, besides having an own story. Planned with DoR2.0, not so linear gameplay, completely new mechanics. I have mood to make it many times when doing something... but none of these somethings involve a computer, and it's hard to make BBIV away from a computer. I suddenly have more mood when my older laptop is on and 2.10 is one click distance... but not enough. (Now I made the Guardian cry...)

Quest: Other Elements: Coronation (ZC2.5RC2)
I made the concept thread for the Other Elements world just yesterday. It's here. This starts with a three part story, but since this is an entire universe, like Ellivenia, it can have many stories built on. I want it with completely unique tiles, so I would rather make a completely own tileset and I wouldn't make the quest that long, for it's hard to make unique graphics for 10+ dungeons and 3+ overworlds. This whole story has no relation to usual ZC mechanics, for starters, I don't plan any dungeons in the first parts and maybe it stays overworldy all along.

Tileset: Other Elements
With that much unique graphics, why wouldn't I make the tileset first, then the quest later if I still want? The only problem is that I can fall into M&B's problem and without making a quest along the tileset, I won't notice if I miss out something or if it's hard to use. Otherwise if I make it, it should contain things like:
-volcano craters with lava in many sizes from 1x1 to 4x4 and maybe bigger
-new mountains with many variations in shape and angle relation
-veins, ores
-brick houses, smiths, fancy houses
-crystals, metals, tools as objects
-fireworks, fire rain, shining as overhead effects
-etc
And the equavilent of known ZC items and well-known objects, if I really release it as a public tileset, in case some people still want to have a candle as L1 Candle and still need pushable 1x1 rocks as a set, etc.

Quest: (overworld quest)
I was thinking about the fact that I'd love to keep placing combos on a screen, but I don't feel like wrapping up an actual quest when this made me imagine a huge overworld quest in the Classic tileset... tremendous amount of overworlds, even more than in "The 9 Villages". Eternal enjoyment. With SWII tiles and more.

Quest: Ellivenia: Compensating Soul (ZC2.5RC2)
Ellivenia. My huge master story that I grew up with. Ever since the end of elementary school, all ideas I made up increased Ellivenia's size... a planet with more than 600000 years of detailed history and millions of years base concept (a summary can be seen here). The part I detailed and like the most starts with the story "Compensating Soul". I kept planning it for game and for book and I didn't really want it for ZC, for I thought a limited engine would be anticlimatic for my best idea, but... it won't be any higher than a ZC quest anyway, ever. And it's just one third of the story, so it's nothing like I bind all my greatest ideas into a "limited engine".
The contents would include a girl, an all-use sword, a mystical seemingly omnipotent evil, all spread through the whole quest with plots for each area inbetween. A mission of destroying and recreating as part of a cunning plan against the undefeatable. Highly overworld dependant story, not a straight "OW-DGN-OW-DGN-OW-DGN..." line.

The highest chance now is for the huge overworld quest. I also might make 1-2 simple 8+1 dungeon LoZ quests...
