Can I... split my vote in half? On one hand, there's a beautiful winter landscape with incredibly layered mountainscapes, and on the other, there's a heavenly contrast between autumn and summer. And to make it worse, they both have bridges.

Can't.

Decide.

NJF: Impressive scope, scale and visual depth and a definitely memorable landmark, feels like I'm near Snowpeak Ruins in TP. Nice way to use tiles differently. Voted.

Polaris has a great shot this week, very unique. Shane really knows how to bring out the best out of these new types of tilesets I see appearing in SotW.

Omega, your image is solid, it's unfortunate you didn't get any votes yet. Chances are the reason for this is because it's not exactly what I call jaw dropping or eye catching. It's a nice job, but there's nothing about it that I can say grabs the attention or creates any form of impact, but it does show you know how to work with the tileset you are working with in a very accurate and professional way.

NewJourneysFire - Really awesome snow shot here. Like with your previous winter shot, this one also looks really good. I really like the shadow under the bridge, it gives the screen a lot of depth. Nice job.

Omega - Solid cave shot. I like the design with the tileset and what you got going on, though having birds in there makes them feel kinda out of place IMO.

Polaris - I feel like I may have seen something similar to this before in the past. Screen looks amazing though and I love the bridge in the middle. Really nice job here.

It was very tough between NJF and Polaris. I really wish I could split my vote up or something, but I guess I'll have to go for Polaris this week.

I never realized this until now that Shane'a tileset is actually the Gameboy one. Lol My mind isn't with it sometimes.

Ooooh this is a good one. Y'all did a fantastic job! :bounce: I love these screens!

NJF - Wow!! There is just so very much happening on this screen! Wherever my eyes go, there's something interesting to look at! In fact, my only quibble (And it's not even a problem at all) is that if you look a tile or two to the northeast of where Link is, you'll see a piece of rubble in the snow. The black lines of that rubble "follow through" visually into a diagonal line of the mountains. It jars the eyes a bit. If that rubble were flipped horizontally, that wouldn't happen. Interesting effect though. :-P

Omega - I keep struggling to put these ALTTP cave tiles into the proper position. You've done it masterfully. My hat is off to you. I'd sure love it if there were a lot more happening on the screen, and it weren't nearly symmetrical. It would be such a nice cave then. Make the screen a lot more interesting, and we'll see where it goes! :D

Polaris - You know what I love about this screen? It doesn't scream "This is a GB Zelda tileset." In the Gameboy Zelda games, the corners of cliff tiles (and a whooole bunch more.) have the wrong corners. They don't blend in AT ALL with the surrounding tiles. I searched for so many minutes to find even a single thing visually jarring or unrealistic about the screenshot, and I found nothing. I am so impressed. My heart sings for this screenshot.

I agree with what was said. It's a solid shot, but not really jaw dropping. I could of added a lot more but it's being used in a quest of mine where it would be a lot more detailed then the other screens I have. I can change that, but as it stands it doesn't beat the other two screens. I'm going to null, but only because I think both other screens are great and don't want to have to choose. :P

The other comment about the birds inside seem out of place is something I agree with too now. :P You'd normally expect to see keese in these settings.
