[Shoelace]

For linking purposes and such, I wanted to make a thread about my 2nd released quest. :O  It isn't Hero of Dreams by any means... It was made in a month.  However, it is a good game for those NES lovers.  It is NES with a little Shoelace twist.  

 

It is titled The Real 5th Quest.  It is not a part of my Hero of Dreams storyline just so everyone knows.  lol.  It is a quest that is submitted to the 5th quest contest.  I really hope you like it!

What am I supposed to do in level 3 with the four different blocks?

One room (the southeast one) tells you the order to push the blocks.  The other room (the northeast one) is the one you will need to push the blocks.

Level 5 finished, this quest is the perfect version of Z1!

 

 

 

 

I have all the essential items from the field I think, like the magic sword. 

 

I need the bomb upgrades >.< In level 5 I run out of bombs quite easily. Did I miss some upgrade in the dungeons?

Sadly, there were no bomb upgrades in the original legend of zelda, thus there are no bomb upgrades on this version. :/

What...?

Both first and second quest have two bomb upgrades in the dungeons, to make the total number of bombs 16...

HOLY CRAPs!  I don't know how I forgot about that...   The Level 7 one was obvious too.   It has been some time since I played the original. I don't know how I forgot...  Well, looks like I know what I will be updating!!! lol

I'm still stuck in level 3. I have found a boss key but nothing to use it on.

 

There's one key to the left of the boss key room that I can't grab, but it looks like I'll need to come from the room above, using bombs.

Yes that's exactly what you need to do. You have visited the room before where you have to bomb the wall. It is the room to the right of where you got the ladder.

Yeah but I can't access that part... I can only enter the upper part of the room and there's too much water for me to cross. I see there's a stairway there but I don't know how to access it. I haven't unlocked the door to the left of the entrance, I'm missing a key for that.

 

edit: Never mind, I've figured out I need to come from the south.

I am pretty sure you have the ladder if you have the big key. So do this. From the entrance go to upper left part of the dungeon. It should warp you to the top side if the dungeon. Here for go down one screen bomb the wall on the south to get the key. There is also a key where you have to go up one from the entrance and bomb the wall north.
