It just saddens me that this quest is getting poor reviews when, IMO, it is quite broken at the moment BUT salvageable and with potential.

I'd also consider, after the fixing and beta testing has been done, removing the current quest from the database and resubmitting the new version (don't know if that's allowed though).

I can change the theme if thats what people are looking for.
Most of the other things i like though mazey overworld that plays like a dugeon gameplay hard and cactuses everywhere for the desert island theme.

- If you miss the Wand at the beginning and change seasons, you're stuck forever.
- Nothing at all tells you how to change seasons. I was stuck for 15 minutes trying to figure it out because I thought the logs just warped you automatically like the first one does in Winter.
- All the screens are horribly cramped and there are too many pointless hazards on them.
This quest was just... really unintuitive and borderline unplayable. Star for effort.
i added scripts so you cant warp now so it forces you to figure out how the wand works the screens are meant to be cramped its a gameplay hard quest requiring good finger dexterity and the hadards are an eye coordination challenge.
did you look at the youtube clip it makes it look easy.
The overworld is a giant maze/key hunt (not fun at all), the midi doesn't fit at all, the custom graphics don't fit at all, there's random stuff like isolated screens with snow on layer 6, there's nothing directing the player where to go or what to do, I kept getting killed because of unfair enemy placement (your overworld is a maze so red leevers anywhere are a serious problem), I WALKED DOWN A FROZEN WATERFALL PERSPECTIVE HOW DO YOU WORK, and above all I didn't have fun. I consider myself a patient person but when I wander around an overworld for an hour and can't locate the first dungeon or the next key and keep dying and getting sent back to the first screen where I have to waste my time on the stupid broken stump warps (Sometimes they just decide to warp you twice. Also I'm pretty sure the warp combo is somehow on a different combo for every stump, possibly even between seasons.) again that's when my patience runs out. For all I know your quest could magically turn into Hero of Dreams at level 4 or something but I'll never find out because it set a negative first impression and first impressions can make all the difference sometimes. I also tried your other quest and didn't like that much either, but that was really buggy and unfinished so I can't pass much judgement yet.
Okay, so now onto the more important stuff. I'm sorry I have to be a Negative Nancy here. I really think you have the capability to do great things. I can't tell you how to make your quest, that's ultimately up to you, but I can offer you some advice for starters:
Make your overworld screens more open. It will make the combat much more fair.
Give the player more direction ingame. Sometimes a "The Northern Palace can be found North of here." will suffice.
Think about the logic behind your puzzles before you do them. That frozen waterfall for example; can most normal human beings climb a vertical frozen surface?
Put just as much detail into your dungeons as you do your overworlds. This is based on the deku stick dungeon in that other quest of yours I played. It was very empty.
Don't forget to use multiple levels of elevation in your overworlds. It makes them more interesting. This is once again from what I played of your other quest.
Most importantly, don't be afraid to seek out help. This applies to both your quest making and your scripting.
I know you can improve if you set your mind to it!
the overwold is meant to be a key hunt it make quests fun open roam quests are boring only zelda one uses them. The midi is meant to be jumpy and upbeat. Snow is for winter season its not random. leevers are walking heart pots there easy. The keys are outlined to show where they are in each season. Warp combos are now fixed. I like the cramped overworlds there challenging. I can try a cave telling where the levels are.Walking down the waterfall was just something fun to do showing diffrent stuff can happen each season. Its meant to be flat its an island later bits have mountans look at the pics at the start.
