Rabbids killed Rayman. I wanted a new Mario RPG, but not like this... NOT LIKE THIS!!!
Yes. This is my sentiment exactly. Except the newest 2D Raymans which are decent but dammit, I want a 3D one!

Well, I'll say that if Nintendo is hoping to bring the Switch to the same level as the Wii U, this is just what the console needs. I certainly hope their aspirations are higher though.

Oh man swearing, Mario's gone hardcore.
"Look guys, we're making Peach a badass female character! We're still relevant, right?"
Note that I'm all for making Peach a stronger character but coming from Ubisoft I can't help but feel like it's a publicity stunt.

"Some men... Just want to watch the world burn."
-- Joker, The Dark Knight.
Off-topic, but that's Alfred's line, not the Joker's.

I'm just saying, this is the same company that, in 2014, said they opted not to make playable female characters in the most recent Far Cry and Assassin's Creed games because it was too much effort.

The common theory is that the slides were written by someone whose first language is French. Ubisoft is Canadian so it makes sense.

What the actual heck - ______ -
I'm totally for them making Peach awesome too (I love Peach. I play as her in melee and I love that she is so powerful in that game). But yeah, I agree, it feels really forced. I like that in Melee she's silent and hits you with frying pans and then rubs it in in the end. And also, having empowered female characters should just be normal not something like, oh we did this, we're so cool >_> It just rubs me the wrong way.
