All right, I can reproduce it now. It's definitely making some odd choices in searching directories.
If you put both zelda.nsf and Antiquity.nsf in the Zelda Classic Quests directory, does that work?

no, it just plays midi

edit: Got it to work and theres no problems, question, is the overworld music the original hyrule overture? The dungeon music seems custom

Is that the directory specified as the quest directory? The one specified in Misc > Quest Directory... If not, try putting both files in whatever directory that is.
And, to be clear here, zelda.nsf should be the same one packaged with ZC. Don't rename Antiquity.nsf or it will play the wrong file.

Hi guys, i have been playing the Antiquity 1st quest for 4 years now and have gotten everything in the quest. One thing is that I keep feeling like I am missing some secret money. is it possible for me to get some snapshot clues as to where all the secret money is? I do know where 2 of the 100 rupee hideouts are, the one in the desert and the one in Death Mountain area. I have also managed to find about 4 Door Repair rooms, about 3 10 rupee hideouts, and 1 30 rupee hideout. Thanks.

Hi, love your quest, hoping you have time to help me find level 2 on second quest please!

It's analogous to the NES game; level 2 replaced a unique shop. Remember where the whistle was cheaper?

Spoiler

Wow, totally missed this. Sorry. If you still care, the quest is unpassworded, so you can just open it and look.

Question....I've cleared this quest a couple times before but on my most recent playthrough I got to Ganon's room and for some odd reason I can't even get a hit on him now. Yes, I know he's invisible and all that, but I this Ganon fight was not the same as previous iterations....I'm running around the room trying to stab him and just taking damage, and neither he nor the statues in the corners of his room are shooting anything at me.

I was only playing through the quest again so I could get to the 2nd Antiquity quest, which I have never played. I tried putting my name in as "EALDZ" both with and without the apostrophe but neither way works (ZC starts me off on the plain vanilla 1st quest both ways).

Any advice? I'm running 2.53, if that helps.

... Huh. I can't reproduce either issue myself, so I can only guess.

Did you continue an existing save after updating the quest? That might explain Ganon's script breaking. I can't see any reason it'd break in that way, otherwise.

Not too sure about the name, either. I don't suppose you had any spaces after the letters? The script doesn't account for that possibility. I should update it check for that.

Here's a modified version of the quest: https://www.dropbox....dified.zip?dl=0
It starts you with all items and has cheats enabled (codes are 1, 2, 3, and 4). There's also a little logging added to the scripts.

There are two things I'd like you to try with it. Be sure to start a new game instead of continuing the existing one.

First, go to Ganon in the first quest. You can warp straight there with cheats - DMap 9, screen 10. If he still doesn't work right, let him run for a little bit, then show me what's at the end of allegro.log.

Second, enter your name as EA'LDZ and see if you start in the second quest. The quickest way to check is to go left a screen and into the cave. If there's an old woman telling you to play music, that's the second quest. If it doesn't work, let me see what's in allegro.log.

It's very unlikely, but there's one other thing I can think of. You could also try deleting or renaming ZC's save files (zc.sav and zc.icn) to make sure there's no old data causing problems. That would be a pretty serious bug in ZC, so keep a copy of the bad save files and report a problem if that works.
