I think it's time I change my desktop background again.
It doesn't cover the whole screen but I think the black lines on the sides looks pretty cool in contrast to the main picture. I also need to remove a couple icons since I hardly use some of them lol

I don't like Windows 8/.1's bland, flat window scheme, so I got a theme so that makes windows borders look like they did back in windows 7.
I also got the desktop background, as you can obviously see above this text, as I needed something brighter and less dark then my other backgrounds (like the Metroid one which I may have shown or may not of, I can't remember).

I found this image from the ten second teaser of Doom (not Doom 4) that Bethesda released today as an appetizer for this year's E3, and couldn't resist making it my wallpaper.

You obviously have not seen my very very old desktop lol. The whole of the desktop was just icons, I even ran out of space lmao. Seriously though, that looks really cool. Cave Story tho.
In other news, got a new desktop background:
I couldn't help but use it sooner or later. There we go lol

My ex-girlfriend's was even worse. Her desktop was COVERED by icons. She had so many icons that I placed them into a folder and it took TWO times just to not have the screen filled. Nice background.

In all seriousness though, if you want your desktop to look nicer, you should get rid of the shortcuts you don't need all the time. You ever had those shortcuts on your desktop that end up going unused for months? If so, you should get rid of them. This has happened to me on several occasions... hang on a second.
...removes an app that hasn't been used since God knows when from my desktop and nukes it to kingdom come...
There goes another one!
...And I'm sure it'll happen to you, too. It's your choice, though.

So, theinsanenexas decided to spice up my avatar you can see over on the left. It looks pretty cool so I turned it into my desktop background instead.
Also, don't mind the random Skullgirls icons near the top, I was supposed to make a random video out of that for pure boredom lol
Edit: Only now I realised my surname was spelled wrong, dammit lol
