It´s DONE! Incredible boss, incredible game and ending.... !

I will review it later, beacuse I really need take a break and rest x) and stand concepts about the quest (I beat the final boss less than a hour ago!)...., but maybe its the cleverest and most complex quest in the database so it´s absolutely awesome what you have done!.

You have been nicely inspired =)

I received some hints but in the most part I could do it, I think the hardest thing was to find the

Spoiler
and the brillant place of blue keys.

Again Thanks for making this a reality!.

This quest is AMAZING, I almost gave up on it and very glad I didn't.  Stick with it, it gets a little easier.

EDIT:  Can't get the last blue key referenced in post #101.  Help?

Nm, figured out the one room I hadn't been to.

I find it ironic that basically everyone hates the slide puzzles lol. That's one of the most straightforward rooms in the quest.

If you consider that room straightforward, I hate to imagine the rooms coming up that you consider confusing.

The left puzzle isn't bad, but the one on the right seems to be based on luck of the shuffle making it tortuous to solve or not. You wouldn't be getting criticism for that room if it was just the "lumen" slide puzzle the player had to solve.

Que? I entirely disagree. The left puzzle is the worse one since it practically requires you to take a screenshot before solving. These type of puzzles require you to know what order the blocks should go in, which is very hard to tell when it's jumbled really up-scaled pixel art. The right one to contrast feature artwork that is a heck of a lot more distinctive.

These type of puzzles aren't hard if you have some form of strategy going in, they just take a bit of time to solve. To me it seems like people are struggling with them because they are not very experienced with these type of puzzles, which is fair, but that doesn't mean the puzzle is bad nor hard.

Que?

I think the right puzzle is worse because its 36 squares to keep track of, while the other is only 16 IIRC. In both cases, I had a reference of the finished image. For what its worth, and I'm not too proud to admit it, I spent almost 3 hours on the right puzzle. Conversely, I spent maybe 10 minutes solving the lumen puzzle.

This quest is kind of like cocaine, it drives you nuts if you keep playing yet you can't walk away.

Anyway, can anyone confirm:

Too late to edit the above, but indeed there was a chime once I did the proper rain dance. These magic/source puzzles are devious.

Shield strafe is handy during boss fights, especially later.

Try searching the shield cave a bit more.

I know this thread is pretty much dead, but I'm having trouble finding the third red key in the castle. I have the one from the slide puzzle and the one after the crazy darknut room, but I can't seem to get anywhere after that. Current items are Magic shield, 30 bombs, the pendant, L2 sword and red candle.

Edit: Nevermind I got it, somehow didn't notice I could push that one statue leading to an entire section of the castle.
