Not sure how much time I've dumped into the game now. I've just beaten Noel with a close to 600HP group. That's four of seven 'heroes' down. I have yet to explore a lot of the world map still.

There's still hope.

There's not a release date yet, but at least we know the localization's still happening. @_@

I would play the mobile version if the controls weren't horrible.

It's good to hear that they're not canning it. They should release the Vita port on Steam though. I'd have rather played this on PC even though on my phone it's not terrible. Running around monsters on the map is terrible though.

At the time, it was a pretty nice trade off considering the rampant random battles that RPG's had at the time.  Though, dodging them was near impossible in some spots, and running made them invisible if I remember correctly.

Yep. In RS3, enemies became shadows when you ran. Original RS2 hid them outside of a Lens of Truth esque circle.

I definitely prefer the method of hiding the monsters in RS3, since it was honestly a bit more realistic, since it's sort of more there to reflect the idea that you're running past something, and you don't know exactly what it is, but you know it's there.

Maybe I'm just looking too much into it though.

oh good. I mean, if they are always so "don't download ROMs!" they could give us what they never did. and an explination as to why. outside of, some games not being released due to being at the end of the generation's span.

I wonder if we'll get Bahamut Lagoon next

That game was awesome.  Totally dug the jazzy battle theme in that game.
